    Gans was alleged to have developed the concept of hitting favored and co-developed by Dempsey. It was said in his training when he was sparring you would hear his foot loudly stepping forwards as he punched, his weight being slung forwards as he delivered the shots.

          In styles that extend the punch yes... Hsing Yi, ( a mother system of linear Chinese Boxing) DakenJutsu (older Japanese style of hitting), are two examples.

              Great and rare gem.

              For the category of hitting power Sam must have gone into P4P mode before it even existed, unless one is to think welterweight Walcott literally punched harder than Jack Johnson and all the others.

                If you look up Langford and Louis youll see a photo of them. Langford is very short thats why he was able to scale to lighter weights. But hes wide as a truck and big framed. He was also known to be very slippery

                  Walcott never floored Langford.Johnson did,3 times.

                    Like Barbados Joe, the original Walcott, built like a pitbull, for all the way from lightweight to heavy!
