first of all how is a grown man in this situation? you all need to learn how to fight even if you don't win there is no way another man should be in a situation where he can be beat to death unless it's more than 1 person or if that person has a weapon.
to me you sound like a ***** there are alot of fights on the street this is not anything new to me and none of them end in anyone bein beat to death

Obviously, you have the right to shoot anybody who attacks you.

However...99.99999999% of the time, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law whether you were morally justified or not.

The District Attorney is going to try to make his career with you. He wants to put you in his campaign ad when he runs for Mayor or something. He is going to raise campaign cash on putting "criminals" like you in prison.

So he will prosecute the shlt out of you and make you look like a killer no matter what really happened.

Moral of the story: Try to stay out of fights if you can. Being manly or honorable or any of that shlt is counterproductive in the litigious society in which we live.

The answer in most states is that it depends on whether or not your life is in danger.

You have to be in danger of losing your life for you to be able to use lethal force.

If you shoot somebody, 99.999999% of the time the ****** DA will prosecute you just to advance his career. And since you have a crappy public defender you can pretty much count on spending time in prison whether you are guilty or not.

It's not about "state law". If their lawyer went to Harvard and your public defender went to Phoenix online school, you are ****ed.

Lawyers can twist whatever the state law is, into whatever they want.
