If I wanted to practice law I would.

I know one thing for sure. You're dumb as bricks. You always have been.

There was a police department PowerPoint presentation used for training that had another picture of MRT with knees being used to restrain…but the judge didn’t allow it to be shown at trial. So the police chief and the trainer have been accused of outright lying under oath about MRT not being part of the training.

Floyd was resisting officer commands from the start. Even the black female he was with told him several times to stop resisting. Then he wouldn’t go in the backseat of the police vehicle, and asked to be put on the ground instead. Once on the ground he continued to not do what the officers were telling him and he also kicked at them. I think that qualifies as active aggression.
You're still ducking because you know I already responded to this.

MRT is when they tether a person's legs to their waist, correct?

Did Chauvin and crew do that? Yes or no?

If they didn't, was he allowed to just stay on top of his neck until he passed out, and then stay there longer after he passed out?

When did he kick at them? And how was he actively aggressive after he passed out?
Still waiting for your answers but we both know you will just duck it. Duck, duck, duck....

Wrong. They didn't lie about MRT because Chauvin and crew never performed MRT. But you will duck this, too.

MRT is when you bind a suspect's legs to their waist, correct?

Did they ever bind his legs to his waist or not? Simple.

He was arrested on drug charges. He was addicted to opioids. He pled guilty to an armed robbery for which he spent years in prison.

Those are the facts. Anyone want to disagree with them?

He did not deserve to die. AND YES, the cop deserved to go to prison by applying what he did for 10 minutes because of his death, and only because of his death. He could have arrested him differently. Taser him? Let us not pretend that if Floyd was fine after the arrest this is not an issue as it is/was.

BUT, he is no longer a problem to society. He was a x college football player, and a thief amd a robber among other things.

Travesty and Bigg Dunn are defending him. Let this case rest. Floyd is no poster boy / innocent man. And he doesn't deserve a statue. Someone ought to put a stone down ( bolted ) with his arrest record next to his statue. Otherwise people will think he is some civil right activist or a saint.
Why are you bringing up stuff from 15-24 years before that have nothing to do with the incident with Chauvin despite being facts?

Stop trying to smear the victim to defend a cop that murdered a black man. Extremely low character you display here.

Stop trying to dehumanize him just because he is black and has served time.

He served his time for the robbery. He was released in 2013, 7 years before this. How does that possibly impact this event?

You idiot racists need to get this straight- FLOYD WAS THE VICTIM HE NEEDS NO DEFENDING!!!!

Defending is what you, Madison and Shoulder etc. are doing for Chauvin because he is THE WHITE COP CHARGED AND CONVICTED OF MURDER!!

Of course he is an innocent man. He was not convicted of any crime surrounding this event. He served his time for any and all previous criminal convictions.

Why does his criminal record need to be put next to the statute when they didn’t factor into his being killed in any way?

Let’s look at Chauvin’s history as a officer.

Before his conviction in the death of George Floyd, had a history of 18 prior complaints filed against him with the Minneapolis Police Department's Internal Affairs. Out of these 18 complaints, only two were closed with discipline, resulting in letters of reprimand.

Additionally, he was the subject of at least 22 complaints or internal investigations during his career
                • The complaints and investigations often involved allegations of excessive force, with some cases highlighting the use of similar techniques to those used in the George Floyd case.

                • reported on six instances where the Minnesota Attorney General had concluded that Chauvin may have used excessive force.
You guys are defending a corrupt animal cop. Just stop it.

just saying he isnt some great loss to society... people like him are shooting each other all the time and your 'community' doesn't care or react... only when there's a racial angle do you suddenly take action

The hobble device was allowed to be used during the MRT, yes. And police were allowed to use it to tie the legs to the waist if deemed necessary. (Just imagine if they had hobbled Floyd, though. “That racist white cop hogtied that poor innocent black man like an animal AND knelt on his neck!”)

The police officer doing MRT is supposed to monitor the subject as he’s doing it until EMS gets there. EMS was called 36 seconds after Floyd was put on the ground, but they had a longer than usual response time.

George Floyd kicked at them when he was on the ground and they were giving him commands.

Those were the exact words of the non-white Officer Tou Thao.

He also said that Chief Arradondo allowed the city to burn, threw them all under the bus, stabbed them in the back and got them imprisoned.

Thao is scheduled to be released in November and hopes to tell more of his story. Stay tuned.
