    my bad though lol
... I'd still give the RS award to D-Rose or Dwight though. Drilla has been killin it this postseason though (when it counts). This will be one of the all time great playoff performances if he can win it all.

I don't expect you to know what basketball is. Hope you find out one day.

    2 can play that game.
Why should I be time looking for stats and occasions of when Jordan shut down great players just because you said some ridiculous **** like he never had to guard a great player?

The man played against Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Isiah Thomas, Clyde Drexler, Reggie Miller, Joe Dumars, Stockton, Payton, Iverson, etc. and was voted to numerous All-Defensive Teams, but I have the burden of proof true?

The burden of proof is on you and the ringless Lebron.

LOL... I think Scottie is caught up in the moment. People don't seem to remember just how good MJ was on the defensive end as well. He was on the All-NBA defensive team 9 times and actually won defensive player of the year once.

MJ is not only the most prolific scorer of all-time but he was also one of the best defensive players of all-time. There's a reason why he's the GOAT.

Don't forget that MJ is one of 2 players to win the MVP and Defensive Player of the Year award in the same season. His offense is what people remember, but his defense was just as dominant

wtf??? since when did Jordan guard those(bolded) players???

dude, I think this is a generational thing. I take it that you are a young kid, cuz I'm 30 years old so I lived through all of that era and watched a lot of Bulls games.

From your list, the only guys Jordan guarded was Dumars(not a great offensive player) and Reggie Miller(mostly guarded by Pippen).

If you knew anything about basketball, the answer to MY question of who the best player Jordan Guarded in his era: Mitch Richmond. And thats about it. No other great player in that era that Jordan actually had to play 1on1 on BOTH sides of the court.

I might as well bring up Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, Amare Stoudemire even though Lebron doesn't guard them. Your arguments don't make sense.

GTFOH... Lebron with 0 Defensive Player of the Year awards, 1/3rd of the All-Defensive First Teams, and being not as good on the offensive end doesn't mean ****.

He beat the fucking Bulls man!!! He had to guard Derrick fucking Rose for 48 minutes straight!!!

You need to watch more old basketball games ...

So you're still going on as if James was guarding Rose all game?

Let me get this straight... so Rose (who is a point guard) can be guarded on a few possessions by James (who is a Small Forward), but Jordan (who was a Shooting Guard) never could or didn't guard Point Guards or Small Forwards?

                    So a 3 can guard a 1, but a 2 can't/didn't guard 1's and 3's?

You see how I didn't mention Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaq, Patrick Ewing, David Robinson, Barkley, Kemp, Karl Malone, etc.? It's because they're 4's and 5's.

Spare me the experience/age gives you more credibility argument. It's holds no weight here.

I Live in Sacramento so to say the least I have seen my fair share of Mitch Richmond. Mitch Richmond was a good ball player but he was never great. Mitch Richmond was a good player on a bottom feeder team who scored a lot of points because his team was garbage. He was nothing more and nothing less. To even bring his name up in the same sentence as MJ should be considered a crime.
