Jordan did this with every championship he won. Hell I could name guys like Gary Payton, Clyde Drexler and John Stockton that he guarded but it wouldn't make a difference. We saw what Jordan was during the best years of his career. Lebron hasn't even came close to seeing that just yet. He has time, but as of now. It's just unfulfilled potential
How you try to argue Lebron from not being top 30 to GOAT is just ridiculous. What? So suddenly this ***** jumps over players with multiple championships, MVP's, and other individual and team achievements. GTFOH with that ****.
Lebron didn't even become the best player in the league until these playoffs. Until these playoffs, Kobe was the best player in the league because he was consistently closing out games and Lebron wasn't/couldn't.

Is Rose an SF now?
Don't act as if Lebron was assigned to Rose and he had to guard him all game ... He had to guard him on a few switch offs after picks and did a good job against a non-shooter...
Older Jordan had to guard Iverson, but AI could actually shoot better than 40% from the field.
You should take your own advice and watch some old basketball games before forming that opinion.
funny thing is, if you switch those statements around, that would be the truth. Shows that you don't actually watch basketball games.

Dont' get it twisted though. Him not having a championship(or a couple) is exactly what's keeping him from being in the GOAT talks. Even if he wins this year and gets that Finals MVP he won't be a top 5 player to me because he doesn't have the body of work like the Magics, Jordans, Birds or even Kobes have. Hell I wouldn't even put him in the same sentence as Duncan right now but that's just me. If Lebron wins a title this year he jumps the likes of Karl Malone, Barkely, Ewing, Drexler, Nique and others but he will still be behind Kareem, Magic, Kobe, Shaq, Duncan, Jordan, Baylor, Bird, Hakeem and a few others.

Originally posted by hhs661 View PostWhat in the **** are you talking about? Lebron is not the GOAT. Does he have the tools that everyone in the world would want? Of course. But he hasn't done anything to even put him in the discussion as one of the goats. Yeah he can pass like Magic, score almost at will and defend guys like D.Rose, but when the game's on the line he's came up short. The guy is certainly a top 30 player with top 5 talent. There's no questioning that.
