Finally people are recognizing the truth. I've been saying this for years. If you watched Cavaliers games in the past few years(not just when they played against the Lakers or Celtics), you would know this already. Lebron is the best ALL-AROUND player to ever play this game.

People like to nit-pick certain parts of his game and act like thats the only thing Lebron does, but Lebron pretty much does EVERYTHING and is good at everything. He might not be the best at any certain thing, but he does everthing VERY WELL.

Based on skills and abilities alone, Lebron is the best to ever play this game.

Really though... other than averaging a couple more assists and rebounds, how is he more complete?

Pippen is caught up in the moment.
Or Pippen is just saying what a lot of people have known for quite some time but were waiting for the right moment to say.

If Lebron can win 6 titles, five MVP awards, ten All-NBA First Team designations, nine All-Defensive First Team honors, fourteen NBA All-Star Game appearances, three All-Star Game MVP awards, ten scoring titles, three steals titles, six NBA Finals MVP awards, and the 1988 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award, and hold the NBA records for highest career regular season scoring average (30.12 points per game) and highest career playoff scoring average (33.45 points per game)...

Then yeah, he can be compared to MJ or even be greater than him.
        Basically, 100% right.

the best COMPLETE player since Jordan...ok i can agree with that. But LBJ doesn't even have a win in the Finals.

            Why since Jordan?

Since Magic. Jordan was not a complete player the way Magic/LeBron are.

try watching some old basketball games right now before forming that opinion. Name the 5 best players that Jordan had to guard in his career. I guarantee you that Rose would shred Jordan 1on1. Jordan was a great defender because he didn't have to defend any great SG in his time. Jordan was pretty much the only good SG in the league during his career.

It's not even about him just guarding D. Rose though. I think it's easier for Lebron to get this pub simply because he actually plays with another superstar and another decent pro. He can rest for 3 quarters guarding someone like Korver, Deng or even Gibson and then go all out on Rose, but I gotta see the end product before I even think about him being the GOAT.

Jordan did this with every championship he won. Hell I could name guys like Gary Payton, Clyde Drexler and John Stockton that he guarded but it wouldn't make a difference. We saw what Jordan was during the best years of his career. Lebron hasn't even came close to seeing that just yet. He has time, but as of now. It's just unfulfilled potential

If we go by individual or team achievements and/or statistics "a lot of people" don't know ****... Their opinion is just like your "a lot of people have known" statement... baseless opinion.

                      Is Rose an SF now?

Don't act as if Lebron was assigned to Rose and he had to guard him all game ... He had to guard him on a few switch offs after picks and did a good job against a non-shooter...

Older Jordan had to guard Iverson, but AI could actually shoot better than 40% from the field.

You should take your own advice and watch some old basketball games before forming that opinion.
