I personally don't think it does unless you go super heavy with bad form. If done properly, it should get you taller since working out produces testosterone.

Also, today's generation is getting bigger and bigger. When your dads were 13 or whatever, they weren't as big as us. And there's some 13 years olds today that are pretty big. One kid at my old school in 8th grade benches 315 at 170 lbs.
Yeah people of today are a lot taller, but they aren't that much stronger, they're just lanky in most cases. No 13 year old can bench press 315lbs.... The most i've ever heard of was 220lbs and that was Mike Tyson.
People are getting bigger mainly because they are eating healthier. That's an obvious explanation.
The average forearm is probably about 12" in reality.

Bro, it's crazy to see and believe, but I've seen it in person.
The kids like 170-180 lbs., 5'9'' and almost 14 I think. Genetic freak, his older brothers are the same way.

Unless he's some sort of russian or tongan dude, in which case it might be true, I don't believe it. Have you seen the kid's dad? what's he like?
A person of his size and age benching 315lbs is just hard to believe.

I work with the 8th graders for service learning and I think I saw his father once...might've been uncle or whatever.
This guy was huge. His arms were like the size of my head...literally.
Was a bit taller than me so he was around 6'1''-6'2'' and I don't know his weight, but he was definately jacked.
