I've seen many fights and never seen anyone jump to avoid a punch. Aim low, that way if they crouch or duck, which many people do as instinct on head punches, they'll catch it right where you wanted to get them at times.

      there is a way to have more power i notice Frietas does it when he throws his striaght right.

      he bend down and hit it straight from bottom of the chin toward the top.


      another thing how did you get hurt on the ribs?

        A pro that comes to the gym everynow and then...

        His name is lavaugn sumthin.. i think smith..

        his record isnt great at all.. He got stopped on the Winky Wrght Kassim Ouma CARd.. and he might be fighting on the mayweather card(most likely get stopped cuz he doesn't train with other pros..or train enough at all for that matter) before it comes on tv.. the ones they don't show.

        but he's good enough to knock the am's in the gym around so no one spars him... He wanted to spar so i did... I was doing good till the 5th round i leaned a lil forward and didnt protect my ribs and he caught me real good...couldn't even make the next round..

          that guy is a ***** for doing so he should take it abit easy for someone like you who have little experince but good that you are very well conditioned

          try boxing around because that is going to see some of his weak point and reactions like in the 1st round try using fient and jab and progress more and more combo as you go along and feel comfortable that is if you are fighting someone unknowen or expericence as this dude.

          how many years have you been training to get a body like that ?

            I get in and outta shape quickly.... so i couldn't give you a time period... I got introuble wit da law and stopped training...

            but then came back.. so we can say about 1 1/2 years all together... but i've had a bunch of un-registered fights.. so those prally kep me in good stamina range.. which makes it easy to get ripped and cut up feel me

                  legs are very stiff. If you get some bend in your knees you'll find immediately that your balance improves. When balance improves, everything improves. You look good though.

                    Your balance is off,if u stood in that position and I went over there I would knock u over with a push.and your to tight,u need to loosen up.and u need to extend your punches more.

                    and show boxing is for u to pretend like your boxing some1,it looks as if your chasing a rat with the pivots your using.

                      I agree with everyone on me not bending my knees causing my balance and pivoting to look sloppy...

                      But I've also stated before in the VERY FIRST post for all you people that jus watched without reading that my ****ing RIBS are ****ed. and if you know mechanics you understand that **** gets ****ed if you can turn your punches fully over or bend your torso too much.

                      hit yourself with a jackhammer right by the left sternum and then try throwing punches. 1
