Whether Ortiz made a million or 1.5 million, he's certainly worth a lot more in the rematch as it would be PPV. I think Wilder vs Ortiz II on PPV can do pretty close to what Wilder vs Fury did, so Haymon would be able to guarantee Ortiz 7 million.

Would you rather fight Joshua on short notice or fight Wilder with a full camp if the money is the same?

Hearns words are absolutely meaningless. Hearn is turning boxing into WWE ****** land soap opera more than anyone.

So if I was Hearn and Jay told him from day 1 that Ortiz wouldn’t be ready, then put out fake news about offers, why waste anymore time with people like that with 4/5 weeks to go? It’s obvious why they didn’t take the fight. Haymon.....Blaming Dade Promotions or whatever their names are is just reaching.

When asked how it could be a lowball when he accepted 500k for wilder all sorts of bull**** reasons were flying about. My personal favourite was that his stock had greatly risen which is hilarious considering he hasn’t headlined his own event or earned more than the 500k so how could his stock have risen?
This goes back to something I’ve said a long time ago. Anthony Joshua is not a charitable foundation. Just because he’s getting paid 25-30 million that doesn’t mean you can try ask for 10 mil instead of your usual 500k. How you guys can’t see that’s an absolute pisstake I will never know.
