"Only a crazy man would come back, not knowing what the result’s gonna be with the hand, and try to fight a killer up in the ring." Please, Deontay, name ONE killer you have EVER faced. Second, the broken hand issue is nothing new. He has titanium steel rods in his right hand, because he has broken it before. He will continue to have problems with the hand, because he's a tall, slender guy. Logic dictates that a guy with his natural slender frame will have small, slender bones, especially at extremities like the hands. This reason alone will prevent him from unifying, even if he does grow a pair and actually tries it.

To me they fought Gavern at the exact same time Joshua in his 11th fight was a pro prospect in his 11th fight, Wilder had 20 apprentice ship fights honing his skills in the gym, then got moves to prospect status fighting Gavern in his 12th fight of that phase.
You are making a lot out of something that is essentially meaningless~
It's not like Joshua has a heap more experience under his belt - Joshua had 43 amateur fights, whereas Wilder had 35. Joshua was 18 when he started boxing, 19 for Wilder.
It's fine - totally fine - if people want to say he's unrefined, a slow learner or whatever - as long as the reality of him having one of the most hollow records for a Champ, in history, is also accepted.
My beef is with someone carrying around one of the most prestigious belts in the game, having done jack to show he's worth it. And then, those arguing against the shallowness of his pro career.

Im torn between laughing and blanking out at his comparison between creating sport for women, and saying that divisions lower than heavy are created because people who arent heavyweight arent as good and its to give them a chance at something.
What an absolute beta cuck. LOL
The best boxer under a certain weight is no different than the best basketball player under a certain height or the best tennis player who doesn't have testicles.
The top heavyweight is the top boxer. The top welterweight is like the 1,400th best boxer. There's no comparison.

Boxing is a business. Weight classes were created so the boxing business could have more "world championship" fights and as a marketing gimmick to trick the public into caring about who the 1,400th best fighter in the world was.
Once the gun was invented, who the best boxer was became completely irrelevant. Boxing exists as entertainment. To suck as much money out of the public as possible.
I'm not saying fans shouldn't enjoy the lower weight classes. Fans should enjoy whatever they enjoy. But that doesn't change who the best boxers are. The heavyweights are the best boxers. They are the ones that would beat the other boxers.

When you've fought nearly 40 people with no real stand out name, I don't think you can be deciding who you should and shouldn't fight.
The fact Anthony Joshua in less than 20 fights has outshone Wilders entire career, It just looks very bad for Wilder, to hear Wilder trying to make excuses for not fighting a guy who he deems a killer/good it's nothing short of embarrassing.
