yea, they were in different divisions..... I usually use the word "avoid" to describe Ward, and I also use that term for Lara.

Technically not a duck, but Golovkin did choose to avoid those fights..... he could have fought those guys, but he chose not to..... instead preferring to select MUCH WORSE opponents.

But yea, like you..... it would not be an issue if not for all that "154-168" bullshht, and for the fact that Golovkin has mentioned fighting half-a-dozen opponents at 168.

forget Canelo for a sec..... honestly, the most bizarre thing that Mr "154-168" has ever done, is totally refuse to negotiate on the weight with lil 153lb Cotto..... who was - and likely still is - his best possible payday.

that is unimaginable, and totally unjustifiable..... every other fighter from 147-160 would cut off one of their fingers for an opportunity like that..... and Cotto has clearly faded for fk's sake
