What Froch said was that if he would probably lose on points if he fought Ward in the States again because the ref would allow Ward to hold and spoil.

He was clamouring for a rematch in the UK for years, everybody who followed his career knows that.

He had the opportunity after Kessler to get Ward in the UK, Groves was mandated and he never looked back or made a concerted effort after Groves was beating him on cards twice before he emerged victorious in both fights.

You're right he was clamouring and when Andre showed up and said lets do it he swallowed, ultimately retiring after the quote that will haunt him forever. Froch should never have said that regarding Ward, a lot of his fans suffered abuse and embarrassment with him telling the whole boxing world what we already thought and knew what would happen, Froch knowing he would lose and accepting it. If Ward beats Kovalev, then the target is Adonis Stevenson. No way will Ward give GGG a catch-weight fight, unless he loses to Kovalev! I don't fault GGG for pursuing Canelo/Cotto, because they're both more lucrative fights. However, the whole "164 and 60/40," "I'm not business man" "Anybody from 154 to 168" was all bull****!
