Froch- no you fight him
Ward - no you fight him first
On a serious note I believe ward would fight him given the opportunity (honestly know one knows what really happened in those negotiations) but froch is a total ***** I wish he took the fight when it was originally offered, I don't wanna see it happen now, too old to fragile, golovkin would destroy that pretty nose
Might be because the 30s, 40s, 50s era had little media attention unlike today that we have internet, forums etc, because most of them fought everyone and several times as well, or today's boxers are a bunch of sissies, they rarely fight and when they fight they just pick a ****ty opponent or washed up fighter.
Still not a great move from GGG management though to call someone that has retired from boxing, but even Froch did it with Calzaghe.

Andre Ward when asked about fighting GGG: "That ship has sailed. That was the point of moving up to light heaveyweight"
So now I'm going to find the video of him saying that, make a gif from it and post it here 100 times a week to prove that he ducked Golovkin.

But you knew that already didn't you, troll.
And Ward insisted that he didn't even know GGG had signed to fight Lemieux when he sent that offer, btw.
