Waiting for the Cotto/Canelo winner to be stripped is lame, great fighters should want to win in the ring.
Nobody respects a paper champ.
Golovkin said that he could do it.
Hey, wait..... is that what you meant ?
If you do not see this as being a sign of fear then I would recommend you take courses in general psychology or a human behavior class to determine what triggers people to behave in a certain way.
Why is it okay for a fighter to grab a lineal title with a weight limit of 160 and then demand it be fought at 155? It's a rhetorical question because it's not. If you don't want to defend it at the true weight limit then vacate the belt and let their be an actual champion.
Your attempts to be a wise ass in response were fundamentally flawed, please if you are going to quote a post of mine please post with intelligence so that it is worth my time.
Thank you and go **** yourself.
Sincerely,
An actual fan of the SPORT

the best middleweight in the world is named gennady. canelo and cotto are the most lucrative MW on the planet, but gennady golovkin is the best.

GGG has had his chance to fight champions in different weight classes but has decided to fight scraps in one. Cotto has made history so this statement is very accurate.
GGG needs to fight the Quillens, and Wards. But his team knows the deal, to much risk with the hype momentum they have gained.
Quillin got his ass handed to him by GGG in sparring and has publicly stated he'll only fight Golovkin for Pac-level money. That's besides Quillin being protected by Haymon.
As for Ward, he was the one who failed to make the fight by requesting tune ups.
All of this is public information - look it up.

Cotto has a wife and children, he needs to do whats best for them. If you were his fan before then you should still be now because he is fighting one of the best fighters in the world who is naturally bigger and younger than him. That deserves respect.
However if this was a real sport Cotto would not be able to call himself champion without defending against the best fighter at the weight every now and again.
Imagine if Germany just didnt turn up to the next World Cup and decided to declare that they were still champions? Makes no sense. In boxing this is common.Last edited by Tom Cruise; 11-02-2015, 10:17 AM.

He will not have to fight for the belt. He already did when he beat Rubio. The belt will be handed to him.
If it didn't mean anything why does Canelo and Cotto then wiggle themselves like eels on a hot saucer?
