a purse bid only happens if a deal cannot be reached. And in a purse bid, no restrictions on weight can be imposed. The fight would be at 160, with the venue, tv outlet, and date chosen by the bid winner

go read the WBC page all u want, then go listen to the interview the pres had done...they are contradictory..and why? bc its all about the money with them...and sometimes about the mexican pride...if cotto's promoter is paying him 30 million for canelo i'm expecting a shade under 20 if ggg';s ppv numbers dont do so hot...that means he'll get w/e the f he wants in order to make the fight happen under the wbc....thats with rules or no ruless being folllowed

YOU are the one who needs to read up on things. Sure, if they reach a deal ahead of a purse bid, then money split, weight, gloves, venue, everything can be negotiated. But once it goes to bid, then the fight is at 160 with the WBC mandating the money split, and the winning bidder choosing the date, venue, undercard, and tv outlet.

Floyd is an ATG, and a 2x, unified, lineal, reigning champ at SWW, where GGG offered to meet him. How the fcuk wouldn't you get no credit for beating a champ with those credentials? And how do you compare that with an unproven MW with zero creds at SMW? Incredibly ****** poster, that butthurt must be clogging up your brain.

look i changed my stance on ggg ward...but dont BS me and say ward wouldnt be a ppv fight when ***ing david L is a ppv fight...

but like is said i changed my sstance...ward ggg needs to be in late 2016 or early 2017...thats only if ggg has to fight cotto or canelo at 155...

if he cant get that fight or doesnt adhere to 155 he should go right to ward

its all on him we know its 155 or nothing and there is no way to avoid it..

i woudlnt ask him to drop 13lbs from 168 to 155 in one fight...but he's said he can do 168 to 160 and if hewanted he could work his way back down to 160..by fightin at 164 or lower instead of the official 160..nobody is going to strip him bc he is a ppv star
