no offense, but you really dont know what you are talking about. PBC controls the ticket revenue, and the advertising revenue, and pays the "promoter" a flat fee to stage the event. That means PBC is a defacto promoter with a financial stake in the promotion, which is a CLEAR violation of the Ali Act.

Not to mention, I'd bet dinner that the fighters on these events Ali Act financial disclosures only list the money paid from PBC to the "promoter", and not the actual revenue received by PBC, which flies in the face of the laws intent.....

It makes no sense to pay a promoter a fee if, as you seem to want to claim, the entity hiring the promoter did all of the work.

When Garcia-Peterson ended up generating $1m at the gate, it was Lou DiBella and his promotional company marketing the event in the area, pushing the radio spots in the area, coordinating the press availabilities and media workout, in addition to whatever nuts-and-bolts efforts that go into physically putting on the event.

PBC, as is the crux of their effort, likely spent a ton of money pushing the TV product.

No idea how much money DiBella made from the Garcia-Peterson fight, but to try and act as if Haymon Sports was pounding the pavement, pushing the tickets, while DiBella was just sitting around, waiting for a fee is laughable.

All the other banks pretty much get shut down and this one bank then drops the rates through the floor and jacks up the interest rates on all their credit lines with impunity. They have everyone where they want them, little to no competition to keep them somewhat honest, and you are out of a job.

Its not speculation. Its widely known that Haymon pays Dibella, Warriors, etc a FLAT FEE to stage and coordinate PBC events.

I know it probably shocks someone like you, but there are things that go on in the world without your knowledge.

The ali act is to protect fighters, and Haymon has done good by all his fighters...there is no criminal damages done to his fighters... They are handsomely paid..
