If boxing was ran like the UFC we'd had seen 3 or 4 fights between Floyd & Manny, we'd have seen Kovalev vs Stevenson a few years back, Quillin woulda been KTFO by GGG 2 years ago & Rigo would have a HOF career by now instead of still skating on the Nonito W, Khan woulda been KTFO 3 or 4 more times, we'd have a much better idea who's the HW who's gonna run things post-Wlad & he mighta already unseated Wlad & so many other epic things woulda went down & the competitiveness of boxing would be 10x what it is now. No one would have tuneups. If you're a champ you'd get thrown into the fire each time out vs the best available contender. Boxing would be f#cking nuts if it was monopolized with the best fighters all under one entity like the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB & the UFC.
But it's not gonna happen. If it comes close to happening, Haymon will probably be the czar.

And someone will do it eventually, cuz its about the dumbest thing in sports there are so many chiefs in boxing. No sport has as many bosses trying to run things as boxing does. Its hilariously flawed & corrupted. If Haymon does it or not doesn't really matter, someone will cuz the more boxing becomes less important in the sports world (& MMA already gets more coverage in most of the mainstream sports media I follow) the ripeness will be there for someone to come in & take it over like most sports have one centralized entity running things.
