Ya main events was going after the whole organization.

I was really excited to see how it would end up, because at that time there was rumors and theories about Richard schaffer being involved in some heavy money laundering stuff after he left his company which everyone else but him was arrested.

I thought maybe someone would dig into bother more expose them, but it never happened.

I didn't accuse him of anything, he turned it into a race thing, that's a fact.

He's trying to position Haymon as an innocent black man being oppressed by the powerful ***.

But he completely left Oscar out of it because it doesn't fit his fairytale.

I'm beyond tired of black people doing this kind of thing, I sure as heck don't need it while reading a boxing forum.

Before anyone jumps on me for trying to say I got my lawyer degree, I just been reading the document/plaintiff for the last hour so fck off lol
Managers look to secure the biggest events and purses for their fighter.

Gaby Penegaricino had done the same types of things negotiating on Miguel Cotto's behalf (locking in an opponent at favorable terms to Pacquiao, securing a fight location that is in Cotto's interest, working to make sure the TV situations, foreign/domestic, are all squared away in a manner that Cotto is happy with, etc).

Is Golden Boy/Top Rank gonna sue Cotto, if it were to happen, for not working with them for the Canelo fight? lol

Suit claims a manager paying "purse" is against Ali Act (which it is). #boxing
... the the fact that the 'memo' on the check called the payment a purse, Arum thinks he has a case that will net him $100m? lol

Not to mention, I'd bet dinner that the fighters on these events Ali Act financial disclosures only list the money paid from PBC to the "promoter", and not the actual revenue received by PBC, which flies in the face of the laws intent.....
It makes no sense to pay a promoter a fee if, as you seem to want to claim, the entity hiring the promoter did all of the work.

When Garcia-Peterson ended up generating $1m at the gate, it was Lou DiBella and his promotional company marketing the event in the area, pushing the radio spots in the area, coordinating the press availabilities and media workout, in addition to whatever nuts-and-bolts efforts that go into physically putting on the event.

PBC, as is the crux of their effort, likely spent a ton of money pushing the TV product.

No idea how much money DiBella made from the Garcia-Peterson fight, but to try and act as if Haymon Sports was pounding the pavement, pushing the tickets, while DiBella was just sitting around, waiting for a fee is laughable.

              hilarious

Why did Bob Arum work with Haymon for the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight?

Because everybody made a ridiculous amount of money?

Yeah those matchups suck. Nobody wants to see the them. I was saying in general.. Just wish all the promoters could somehow coexist so the fans get what they want. The best match ups possible..

I think PBC is good, but I do think that Al is a promoter but acts as if he's a manager/advisor which is not really the case. He seems to be both which I have heard is illegal.
