And no. You cannot do it for every fighter. Im confident that if you take Ray Leonard starting from the year in which he beat Benitez and untill Hagler, I challenge you to produce a resume that could be better than the one Leonard actually compiled.

Leonard after his detached retina fought sporadically after fighting Hearns.....HIs opponents were Bruce Finch(1982)Kevin Howard(1984), Hagler(1987), Donny LaLonde (1988) Tommy Hearns and Duran (1989)Terry Norris(1992), and Hector Camacho(1997)
All these fights were at 154-168.....Mike McCallum held titles at 154-160 from 1984 until til 92 and went on to win a title at 175 and his a hall of famer, SRL didn't fight him
After Hagler, retired...the lineal champion became Michael Nunn who held the lineal title at 160(1988-1991) and 168(1992-1994)....Leonard didn't fight him
Julian Jackson, Sumbu Kalambay, Herol Graham etc were all world rated at 154 and 160 when he was taking fights with a washed up Duran and up start Norris.....Jackson blitzed Norris before Leonard fought him in 1989 and was a titleholder at 154 at the time and held a title at 160 from 1990-93
He didn't fight none of these guys.....they were all better than Donny Lalonde, and a washed up Duran.....Leonard didn't fight everybody good near his weight either

He to humor you....he turned pro in 76 and was a champion off and on from 1979-1982
He never fought Carlos Palomino, Pipino Cuevas, Rocky Mattioli, Maurice Hope, he fought a washed up Hagler, he didn't fight Aaron Pryor

Dangerous fight, but I feel without a punch that ***s Roy up Kovalev gets badly outboxed and beaten.

For Ray Leonard you take it fight by fight.
Instead of Benitez he should/could have fought xxx
Instead of Hearns he should/could have fought xxx
Instead of Kalule he should/could have fought xxx
And so on.
Then you take all the xxxx and compare them to the actual resume and judge which is the better.

Kovalev is still fresh, give him more time.. to beat Ward if Ward has the balls and Stevenson.

Also no fighter in history fought every good fighter near or at their division....just deal with it, we can play ring around the rosie with every fighter in history's resume.

He sure was! He never tested positive though. When he fought Ruiz at Heavyweight, he was roided. How do I know? Look at what happened to him just one fight after against Tarver. His body completely changed in appearance and still looks weird to this day. And SK doesn't need more time. HE would KO Roy's ass. Roy cannot and could not ever take a punch. SK would hit him clean. What don't these guys understand about that? Roy's speed/reflexes would not be enough to beat SK. HE would have to take punishment. Period.
