Kovalev is a monster....yea right....couldnt ko a 50 year old hopkins but is gonna ko a figher on a whole 'nother level.

Who cornered and mauled a prime Roy Jones? Dude didnt take a real loss til he was 35..only dropped once before the age of 35

Kov would maul 45 year old Roy for Sure but Jones in his heyday beat fighters on Kov level with ease like Virgil Hill, McCallum, etc.

Kov would get thoroughly outboxed. He stands to square, no head movement and has shown susceptibility to speed and counters and Roy Jones is soul brother number one in that department...makes opponents hesitant and Jones has some power

a KO would be Kov only hope and considering how elusive Jones was in his prime that would be highly unlikely


Kov is a good fighter, but he isnt on a Prime Roy jones level.
