Cotto's belt is next. Via vacated or via Cotto. They know this. So it's stay busy fight in every way possible. Stay sharp and stay relevant by staying on TV. Not ideal. But understandable. They keep repeating that they want to unify. But would move up or down for a big fight. Lara is not that big fight. A Tureano like SMW bout is not a big fight. So you can stop.

He's going to be 33 by his next fight. I want to see him make the most of his fights in his prime. He's not getting squat at 160
People act like 68 is stacked with opponents to fight but realistically who is he gonna fight there in May? Ward wants a tuneup, Froch is sidelined till around July, Chavez has an April fight, Anthony Dirrell is fighting Badou Jack, Degale and Andre Direll are going to fight. Groves is waiting on his title shot against Dirrell. There is literally no name for this man to fight in May.
I'm not excited about it but Johnson is prob the top available opponent, so how could I say GGG is wasting anything on fighting him. It's this or not fight. I'd rather see this fight.

Obviously Golovkin is trying to unify 160. He is mandatory to Cotto. If Cotto rejects a Golovkin fight after he beats whatever welterweight he decides to fight next, he will be stripped according to the WBC, meaning GGG will be first in line to fight for that vacant title. Additionally there is the Lemieux vs N'dam winner and possibly Andy Lee if he beats Quillin, on top of that there is Canelo who is moving to 160 eventually and has stated he's willing to fight Golovkin. Clearly your master idea of moving up to fight a no name at 168 doesn't make any sense whatsoever.Last edited by ИATAS; 03-03-2015, 01:06 AM.

Take the fkin Lara fight and whoop his azz and shut these idiots up about you fighting nobodies

Makes no sense.

He's not getting that 160 even if he gets Lee/Sanders, Lemeiux/N'Dam, Canelo, or Cotto
