You really think Arum or anyone would "step aside" what would be the biggest fight in history ?! Get Floyd's balls out of our face so you can see.

Floyd knows that there is no way Arum would not be involved in the fight so long as Pac is under TR contract. The fact that Floyd keeps asking for Arum to step aside and for Pac to breach his contract and sign with Mayweather Promotions, show that he has no plans of fighting Pac.

I must admit your on to something. Thing is, as I originally read the demand from Floyd, it was simply "I will not involve myself in any event that Bob Arum profits from"....more or less. I coild grok this and agreed with Floyd.

However, after seeing the last Madianna fight and the lengths Flyd went to make sure there was no way in hell madianna could chance a victory...and I am not referring to boxing skills here!....I looked at the statement and I don't know if Floyd changed it or what....NOW it appears he is demanding that Pac sign with his group for the fight to happen which is, as you say, moronic if anyone thinks this is reasonable.

I am all for fighters avoiding King and Arum...I am not for demanding that anyone sign with any other individual. Fighters should ideally fight the best and try to avoid the new pond scum rising like Al Haymon and company.

Arum is just a believable guy. He has a honesty track record. If you believe that he will step aside you are the dumb one.

List of excuses from Arum as to why the fight could not go down on May 5th, 2012 : (These excuses are from January 2012)

1)Top Rank doesn't know who to contact to start negotiations.
2)They need more time to build an outdoor stadium.
3)Pacquiao has a cut that won't heal until June.
4)Mayweather doesn't have someone that will guarantee his purse.
5)There's not enough time to properly promote the fight before May 5th.
6)Mayweather might not get his boxing license from the NSAC.

More Arum BS :

When he thought Floyd was going to jail he said Manny will be available to fight JMM on May 5th at the MGM. Then when the jail stint got pushed back, Arum said more time is needed for the cut to heal and the fight needs to be in late May or June 9th. Knowing very well Floyd was under contract for May 5th and that his jail term was set to start on June 1st.

No way in hell am I going to take anything this man says seriously, he simply does not want this fight, his actions prove it. And Pacquiao is a docile lap dog because he has yet to apply pressure to Arum to stop wasting time and make it happen. So you have an old pimp (Arum) and a neutered servant (Manny), with this state of affairs this fight will never happen.

This sums up most of the the reasons they blame Bob Arum for the fight not happening.

The only problem with it is Bob was answering questions about Manny a month after Jinkee gave Manny divorce papers the day before a fight with JMM. I'm only speculating but if Manny needed a bit of time to get his life in line, Bob giving an excuse at that point wouldn't be the worst thing a promoter ever did. Besides if Floyd didn't have to go to jail they could have fought in Sept.

Floydiots cling to vague statements for "proof" that Manny and Bob don't want the fight, while at the same time laughing at them for begging for the fight, and also totally ignoring the fact that Floyd flat out says he doesn't want the fight, and thinks it's funny he's in a position to and refuses to not help Manny financially.

If Floyd really wanted to prove that he wanted to fight you would think he would say it once in a while.
