Marquez wants to avenge his loss to Bradley. He hopes Bradley wins against Pacquiao, so he has a shot at winning his belt, thus making history as the first Mexican fighter to win championships in 5 weight classes. This will break the tie that he has with Erik Morales in 4 weight classes. Then he will retire. He knows he can't just sit around waiting for a title shot without fighting someone, so he chose Alvarado to stay in the game. Both Alvarado and Bradley have Provo in common. If Marquez beats Alvarado, the logic is that he somehow belongs in the title mix. He thinks Mike is the easier choice, especially since he just came off a hard defeat from Provodnikov. Despite what Juan says about not needing the LWW title again, Provo is a tough fight and a potential big roadblock in his quest to rematch Bradley.

hey juan, tell them the truth. ruslan is more of a live dog than alvarado. and jmm doesnt want him to spoil his chances against either pac or bradley. coz we all know bob will pit him against pac-bradley winner even if he had fought and beat ruslan.

why does he keep pretending he was really a JWW champ?
he got an interim belt, got upgraded, then never defended it
piss drinker is old and has a right to do whatever he wants
no problem at all with him facing Alvarado
but stop with this 5 title crap, he wasn't a legit JWW titlist
wishing he'd just retire, it ****** seeing Bradley take advantage of him

Nacho and JMM understand that deep inside too.

If Marquez beats Provo he goes back to being a FNF fighter. The excuses would line up as to why Marquez beat him.
He was never that good, he beat a shot Alvarado, he fought a Bradley who fought the wrong fight etc etc...
JMM has no credible claim on being a 140lb champ. He beat Fedchenko who was only a #4 ranked contender. And when he was being called out by real jr welterweight contenders in Rios and Khan,...he bailed.
You are just blindly ignoring the truth. All I'm saying is that by beating a legit champ, he'd solidify his status at 140. Beating Likar Ramos and Fedchenko doesn't do it for a lot of us.

Whikst the steroids PEDs are working for him and getting away with not getting tested, he may as well keep fighting. He also stayed away from prod and went for a non title with easy fight Alvarado coz Marquez would ve got tw atted...
Marquez is a whining little bi tch but he ain't daft, he knows how to dodge getting caught taking steroids .
