Difference here is that, PAC's win over De La Hoya and Hatton proved he'd clean out 135 pretty easily. And all of PAC's other wins over bigger guys prove that too. PAC would've stayed at 135 for a bit longer, but De La Hoya 'cherrypicked' PAC when Floyd refused to fight him. After beating Oscar, there was no turning back.

Diaz was at least on par with Juan Diaz and Katsidis. Fedchenko is a level below.

Im with Marquez and Nacho on that. I would also like to see Marquez leave the sport with all his brains in tact. Which probably wouldn't be the case if he fought Provo. Boxings a young mans sport. Even though Hopkins and Foreman never saw it that way.

No, it seems that way to YOU because you don't know what is going on behind the scenes in the negotiations aspect of the sport.

With all due respect, you like most fans just don't know what you are talking about when it comes to the process of how fights are made. Fighters aren't scared of ****, what they want is the most money and their promoters and managers decide what is the best road for them to take.

Do you seriously think that JMM went to Arum and secretly told him he doesn't want to fight Ruslan? LOL give me a break man.

As far as i know there was no negotiation for a fight with provo in the first place.he flat out said provo does nothing for his career, hes obsessed with bradley now,to the point where he wont take on the tougher option in provo.he elects to take on the "easier"fight in alvarado, hoping it will secure him a fight with the winner!and towards the end of it all, rado is gonna best him and send his obsessed ass into retirement.

well if marquez doesn't need provo's title then make it a non-title fight at 147.

i'm sure provodnikov would gladly oblige...he'd get his wish to fight marquez and keep his 140 title intact...win-win for him.

Marquez didn't have to say a word. We all know why piss drinker avoided provodnikov.

Thank you! Lol It's also hilarious how these fans here pick and choose when it's ok for certain fighters to be warriors and then "business men".

All you're doing is defending your boy at whatever cost and making yourself look like a ******. That's what it really boils down to.
