Don't be afraid to say the wAy it really happened. Don't just say Alvarado was defeated by Provo... Say "Alvarado was knocked out in 8!" There's a difference. And it supports more of why Marquez wants nothing to do with Provo. Marquez reasoning is so weak, he needs to get back on the PED's for a stronger excuse!
Marquez saying "I already had that title, and no reason to fight for it again". Really? So you have a problem winning a title twice as opposed to once? Who has THAT problem?!!? Lame. You're not fighting Alvarado for a title, you're just fighting Alvarado. Just fight Provo then; make it a non title fight idiot if you don't want that title again. You're more credible fighting Provo who dismantled Alvarado, then fighting Alvarado himself. If that 5th title at Welterweight is so important, then you could have fought Shawn Porter, and don't believe you wanted that dog fight either.
JMM has become a real weasel now that he's being tested for PED's every fight after the fluke Pacquiao fight.Last edited by LouIE G; 03-28-2014, 11:16 AM.

Wasn't he only the interim champ at 140? I could be wrong but last time I checked when he stopped Katsidis it wasn't for the full championship.

Why do you all think Manny gave him rematches? He knows deep down Marquez won!
Marquez has nothing to porve, he wants his 5th world title and he should get it, Now for those who debate the title situation please tell me what title was Manny and hatton fighting for?????? Learn my dear un-knowlegable fans

Just because he has a belt at 140 doesn't mean he can't fight at 147. Especially if he wins and gets e to fight the Bradley/Pac winner (that would be 2 bigger paydays than anything else he'll get at 140)

The mere fact cut off dates were being asked for tells you they didn't want OST testing.
Don't try to revise history in order to make it fit your current agenda.

Much like Marquez, Alvarado is coming off a loss as he was defeated by Ruslan Provodnikov last October in his hometown of Denver, CO. Many fans have voiced that they would’ve wanted Marquez to face Provodnikov instead of Alvarado given the fact that Provodnikov was the victor and holds a world title.
