    No way Oscar, no way.

Unlike a few I think the Floyd of today is the best version I've seen. I think he's been prime Floyd since Marquez. Yeah he's a bit slower. Yeah he's not as aggresive. But he's mastered his craft. No way a 25 yr De La Hoya beats the Floyd that fought Canelo. Not a chance.

A 25yr old Oscar vs a 'greener' Floyd? Zab era? Maybe.

No I said odh chose not to fight him when he was 25. There is no dis*****g this. Ducking is childish carp that I didn't mention.

We dont know what Floyd would do if he was clearly losing the fight against a young Oscar.

Oscars style with that speed would of given Floyd problems, but who can say if Floyd would adapt.

Big Dumb acting like DLH-Mayweather was even close to being a viable option fifteen years ago.

Actually yeah, Floyd was kicking and screaming to fight De la Hoya that early in his career but Bob Arum was the boss.

Oh no, some one watched a fight 3 times thats obsurd! Sad when fmj own dad tells you that you lost.

So what, Oscar was on top of the game at that point. Everyone was calling him out, just like everyone was calling out Floyd after the Oscar fight for a payday.
What would Oscar have gained by beating a 21 year old FMJ at that point?
Oscar was saying his prime would have beaten Floyd's prime, and I don't doubt that.

No idea, possibly. One thing's for sure, Oscar is obsessed and really bugged about FMJ.
Oscar hates PAC more than Floyd. Oscar is only talking like this because he's jealous of Floyd.

Pretty much. Ike was coming off something like a 16 month layoff, yet had zero issues picking off DLH's shots. A young Floyd would take 9-10 rounds off any version of DLH. There's too wide a gulf in boxing IQ between the two. Revisionist DLH fans seem to forget or gloss over the fact that he LOST nearly every big fight he had, and fail to mention his tendency to fade down the stretch.
