GGG is going to go after than lineal title at MW. I dont have a problem with that. And thats most likely what HBO wants as well. GGG v Martinez and if GGG wins, he fights Ward in a much more popular fight.

Of course, Cotto could throw a wrench in things. If he wins, Floyd will immediately fight him for the lineal MW title.
I don't see why GGG couldn't fight Ward, and then fight Martinez if he beats Cotto. And that's not exclusive to Ward. He could fight a guy like Sakio Bika for his belt at 68. Personally, I think him holding a belt at 68, whether it be Ward's lineal strap or Bika's paper one makes him a more attractive opponent for Martinez. If Martinez has the option of fighting him for a title at 68. I'd think that's a lot more attractive. Because should he lose, he's still the man at 60. From GGG's POV, does it really matter if its at 60 or 68? And should GGG lose at 68, it affects nothing at 60 and he's STILL the #1 threat to the Martinez-Cotto winner.

As for GGG being the target for the Marty-Cotto winner, I doubt it. If Canelo beats Angulo, I think the Marty-Cotto winner targets him over GGG.

      Definitely neither of the two.

And I generally feel that he's a lil overrated by most fight fans. Or at least he was at the height of his career. To me, one has nothing to do with the other.

As for GGG's style. Personally, he is boring to me. And that's because I'm unable to generate any personal excitement heading into his fights against what I know are completely overmatched opponents. I was locked up at the time and didn't see it live. But I was much more excited about Rigondeaux-Donaire than I've been about any of GGG's fights. I was a lot more excited about Ward-Dawson than I have ever been about GGG's fights. I'm sorry, and call me a hater if you want. But there's nothing exciting to me about watching GGG steamroll tomato cans. Part of excitement for me is anticipation. And the only two GGG fights I've had any time of anticipation for is Proska and Macklin. Sorry.
And I respect your opinion, I think if everyone had your opinion, Ward wouldn't be talking like this. It's Ward complaining about GGG's quick rise to fame, because unlike you, many people enjoy his style. I personally wish he would fight bigger names. I think Quillin and Martinez don't really want to fight him but Sergio will(assuming he beats Cotto), just to save face.

Wards problem is he has shown hes to good for no hoppers which is GGG entire resume. Ward cant fight guys like Adama, or whatever his name was, and receive the same credit as GGG. Ward has been in with the best and dominated while GGG hasnt.

Now i like GGG and he looks like the goods but in no way has he shown it.

Ward beats an undefeated top 10 Rodriguez and recieved less credit than GGG beating some guy no one has heard of but that is boxing. Fans love flavors of the month boxers.

I doubt Golovkin would win a round against Ward.

Sure GGG could fight Ward now...but it just doesn't make as much sense to him or his network if they wait until he (maybe) wins the lineal belt at 160. Its the weight GGG currently campaigns at, is comfy and is on track to complete. All that makes him more marketable AND they get to air Sergio v GGG and GGG v Ward. GGG v Ward right now isnt as marketable.

Canelo nor Angulo will be fighting on HBO so they wont be fighting Sergio.

Quillen can't fight him because of network and promotional conflicts. Same conflicts that GGG's management pointed out as to why GGG can't fight Lara.

If Martinez has a Canelo fight on the table, he won't be fighting GGG any time soon. He'll simly make his mandatory against Rubio, which he's probably gonna have to do before fighting GGG regardless. That will close out his HBO contract and then he's off to Showtime to fight Canelo. Once again leaving GGG with his d1ck in his hand screaming "nobody wants to fight me."

Any answer I give you, you would reject anyways.
You pretty much admitted to being black bias, so my guess is
you don't like GGG and support Ward based on this.
