    Arum is dead on here...

Name another promoter who put on a show on Showtime last year besides Golden Boy... there wasn't one. It was all GBP.

so tired of this guy Arum

So Showtime is wrong when they do their fights in-house..first of all they are using the blueprint as Arums approach, except Showtime likes to stack their understands.I think he just mad because GBP has a lot more match-ups to keep it intriguing, and Arum is kinda pressured into giving us good matches, after Gambia/Mikey the round robin will start all over again..he just mad because he can't get a piece of that bread. It's a shame but last night I just realized his cultural background and it totally makes sense now, it explains his greediness. Can't wait til this kicks the bucket..anyway now

He makes a point, when was the last non Golden Boy promoted Showtime card? HBO works with all promoters.

It doesnt matter who is wright or who is wrong...What you said makes perfect sense...there no way to sugar coated, espinoza worked for golden boy and will make a better cut(kickback)from them....end thread.

"I can't tell you that pay-per-view helps the sport because it doesn't. It hurts the sport because it narrows our audience, but it's a fact of life. Every time we try to make an HBO World Championship Boxing fight, we're up against mythical pay-per-view numbers. HBO doesn't make a lot of money from pay-per-view. There's usually a cap on what we can make. But the promoters and fighters insist on pay-per-view because that's where their greatest profits lie."

"It's a big problem," Greenburg continues. "It's getting harder and harder to put fighters like Manny Pacquiao on HBO World Championship Boxing. If Floyd Mayweather beats Oscar, he might never fight on HBO World Championship Boxing again. But if HBO stopped doing pay-per-view, the promoters would simply do it on their own [like Bob Arum did with Cotto-Malignaggi in June 2006] or find someone else who will do it for them."
Cable networks are in the business of attracting and maintaining subscribers, not PPV buyers.

Showtime subscribers who like boxing are probably pretty happy for the most part. They've been getting stacked undercards lately and a lot of extra preliminary bouts get televised on Showtime Extreme.

The one thing I will agree with Arum about is that Showtime isn't working with other promoters. It would be nice if they opened the door to others not just GBP.

Maybe if Rob Arum would have built that stadium both GBP & TR could be holding fights tk maximize attendance. But hold on, lying zza Rob Arum is the only person in just g that will tell yourself the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Hahahahahahaaahahahahahaha. ....

Are you kidding me? Didn't you hear the news a year ago when HBO said they would no longer work with GBP after Floyd Mayweather signed a contract with Showtime? But you claim they work with all promoters? The only promoters that HBO works with other than Top Rank are the ones that promote the star fighters that appear on HBO -- Andre Ward, Sergio Martinez and GGG and two guys at light heavyweight that they want to make stars. HBO won't give any other promoter the time of day, so they are really no different than Showtime.

Arum is a smart man. He knows that their is to many figure heads at goldenboy/showtime, so he can talk **** like this and each of the talk head at GB/ST will start talking over one another cause all kinds of chaos.
People have got to know by now that most of the crap that comes out of Arum's mouth is lies and deception mashed in the middle of two of the most thinnest slices of truth.
If Arum used this gift of politics, gab and strategy for Rigondeaux, Rigondeaux would be a superstar already.
