    1st go around:

    - In late 2009 after Manny defeated Cotto impressively Floyd and his team reached out to TR to negotiate a Mayweather vs Pacman fight. It was Floyd's team who reached out, not Manny's.

    - In late 2009 the OST request was know to team MP.

    - Floyd eventually agreed to a 50/50 split down the line, a weight of 147, gloves of 8oz, a standard ring and a $10 mil per pound penalty. This was after he was adamant it would be 60/40, and Roach running his mouth all day about how Floyd wouldn't do the fight at 147. Basically he conceded to be on even footing.

    - After this occured OST suddenly became a problem, and we had comical excuses such as blood draining, bruising, USADA being corrupt etc, the list is so silly i still laugh when i remember the tard nation justifying them on NSB.

    - TR and co left the negotiating table and tried to blame Mayweather by saying they offered a 14 day cut off and Floyd refused. Retired federal judge who mediated said it didn't happen this way. Clottey fight signed and sealed two weeks later.

    - After this fiasco Floyd is very clear that he won't be offering the same terms on OST next go around and he will want no cut off.

    2nd go around:

    - TR reckons they reached out to Floyd to negotiate a fight despite never actually calling any member of his team. Absurd countdown clock appears on TR website. A great promotional tool by Arum for Manny's next fight. Again "Floyd is ducking Manny" "Floyd is scared" are the go to lines.

    3rd round:

    - Floyd and his team are the ones to initiate contact again. Terms are again pretty favourable, and at this point Manny has publicly in the media already said OST without a cutoff is no problem. Looks like this might be the time to make the fight.

    - The lame excuses start again, as if they weren't lame enough the first time. Everything from who is administering the test, to stadiums needing to be built in Nevada, to staging the fight in Texas or Dubai with it's investors, or a cut that just won't heal and TR and team Pac turn it down again.

    4th round

    - Floyd calls Manny with a $40mil flat offer. Manny declines. Have no issue with this, he deserves some PPV upside, well within his right to decline it.

So where in all of this has MP or his team initiated a negotiation or signalled a willingness to actually make this fight??
It was hilarious watching them have to vehemently defend some of the ****** nonsensical excuses. Not to mention people pretending to be doctors posting about blood-draining and whatnot. Good times.

It's easy to dislike Mayweather for some of the things he does and says but don't let the dislike and "hate" (a word I don't like to use) cloud your judgments. Manny spent his prime fighting guys who were guys Mayweather beat already, losers or fighters that did not look great in their fights prior. When was the last time Manny fought any fighter(s) who was coming off of a solid win? Bradley and Marquez and you see what happened to him. Floyd has fought actual WW's and Hoya,(154) Canelo at 154 (catch weight but Canelo was not drained) coming off of actual solid wins. I mean, I'm sick of them talking about this fight and all the coverage it continues to get because it's not going to make it happen, but in no way is Pacquiao's legacy more defined then Mayweather's in boxing. Floyd is the more impressive of the two. Khan is a crappy fight if it happens.

We are gonna have to disagree. Pac fought the lions coming up the ranks, Ledwaba sp, Barrera , Marquez , Morales the GREAT and you distorted the truth about Pacs fights. Pac has won 4 lineal titles , has done more in boxing than any fighter in history and what has JR DONE?

He was WW way before Pac, and he refused to fight Margo prime and elite because he was afraid he would lose.

Jr refused to fight a prime Cotto and I could go on and on but what I expect to hear from you is

      #1 NO RESPONSE

      #2 Some nonsense

Jr did not rebuff the statement by Arum that JR was a coward not to fight Margo.

Jr Retired instead of fighting a prime Cotto

JR has made more demands than Hines has pickles and each time Pac agrees Jr comes with more demands.

I have said in my last posts that I hope Pac don't fight JR , and I hope it never comes off.

The WORLD knows who is the Main DUCK in boxing and its JR

I want to see Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. We need to get these guys to fight each other before they retire instead of letting these no-life biased fanboys duke it out for them endlessly on boxing websites.

Bingo! Why only now. Him and manny had broken negotiations for over 5 years now never was arum the issue. And now it's arum. Duck season is just taking longer in Floyd's world.

I agree, biased is the keyword with these people. They just have to hate one guy and love the other no matter what. Just following and repeating the same crap over and over

Arum and Crew burned out their frequent flyer miles chasing Marquez around Mexico but can't make a call to Mayweather. SMH
