Floyd Mayweather Jr vs. Manny Pacquiao Master Discussion Thread

Thats the big problem of floyd, he cant make Pac cautious. As I said, Cotto the harder puncher countered Pac many times and doesn't stop. He cant also run the whole 12 rounds like Algeri, Pac will catch floyd. And how can you you win a LEGITIMATE unanimous decision if you keep running while the other guy is throwing 10 punches combo.

Cotto never countered Pacquiao with clean shots. He landed a few nice jabs in the early round which snapped Pacquiao's head back and had a couple good moments in 3 and 4 but was rope-a-doped and dropped.

Cotto don't counter like Mayweather and doesn't have the defensive ability of Mayweather.

Bradley isn't a big puncher and was able to make Pacquiao cautious yet his technique was pretty poor in that fight, wild swings.

To answer your question he can win a legit unanimous decision because he will be landing his right hand frequently and Pacquiao won't be throwing 10 punch combinations. I just hope this fight happens so you can see for yourself. If i am wrong i will happily admit it and give Pacquiao full credit.

The knock downs are why Manny should've won the first fight, and why he won the 2nd fight. It's not rocket science. Point is, Manny will be HARD to outpoint. Fighters have behavior in the ring. Floyd is a patient, counter-puncher who doesn't take risks. he is a safety, defensive fighter. How is he going to win against Manny? Manny also seems to have more in the tank. Manny would've beaten Maidana worse than Floyd did. He might've stopped him on cuts or by pounding, because MM doesn't have the best chin. Floyd got embarrassed.
