A large part of the reason these guys are so famous is being well promoted and well managed to begin with so no.
Everyone knows a guy at the gym who's really good but never got a break with a good promoter, wasted a few years on dead end deals then just got a normal job.
You're underestimating how important all that press and logos and social media etc are in getting people to show up, making average people and the press (as in the mainstream media, where money talks) aware.Last edited by ////; 12-03-2014, 08:31 AM.

Dummy....
"One chance for Pacman are knockdowns but of course if he hit him clear (1% chance)."
See. This type of foolery is what's wrong with this site. Who the hell do you think Floyd is? Did you not watch the Maidana fights? Did you not watch the Cotto fight? Did you not watch the Castillo fights? What about the Corley fight? What about the first five rounds of the Judah fight? Floyd Mayweather is not as good as you think he is. The level of opposition he's faced and the circumstances surrounding when he faced him, says A LOT. Manny Pacquiao will hit Floyd and hit Floyd often for 12 rounds like he does everyone else he fights. We are talking about one of the greatest and most unique offensive fighters, EVER. Besides the Bradley robbery and the Roidquez cheat; when was the last time Manny CLEARLY lost a fight? It was March, 2005 against Morales in their first encounter. Manny is a BAD dude, idiot. Guess what else? Floyd cannot handle the right kind of activity that Manny presents. He will lose if he mans up. He is OLD and overrated at the same time.
