Ortiz is a fighter who backs straight back,he also has no jab to speak of..He also bull rushes which means he will be running into right hands all night..It's a decent fight but anyone acting or saying it's the best fight in yrs is just being delusional..Ortiz beats Berto(nothing more then a hype job himself)and now he has a shot at beating a Mayweather..Hahaha please come on surely this is a joke..This is nothing more then a tune up to get to Pac I hope..Ortiz has no shot,and by the way Hatton had more of a chance of beating May then I would give Ortiz right now..

I dont understand what your getting at ? ortiz is easily a more dangerous fight than marquez or mosley at this point in time this is what i was stating not that victor would win but that he is fighting floyd at the right time in his career when floyd hasn't fought the best out there for a while and has had alot of recent problems in and out of the ring. Can no one person have an opinion except yourself without riddicule ?

However i think that the style that has been able to trouble floyd is a ricky hatton style , ricky hatton with better conditioning and more head movement would excell against mayweather ..This is where pac comes in who is a fasters more powerfull, clever version of ricky hatton. end of

Agreed, my friend. I'm stoked, just like I was stoked for Berto-Ortiz because I could feel something in the air. And Ortiz brought it that night. I think he will do so again and Floyd is going to have to bring his A game. And 16 months out of the ring, 34 years and fighting since he was toddler, I'm not quite sure what that A game is at this point. Mayweather will rightfully be a solid favorite but don't be surprised if he gets caught with a right hook that puts him on ***** street, a la Corley. The elements are all there.

For all BS, arrests, trash talk, money gnagsta image, and every negative thing the media and his haters write they forget one thing about floyd. He ALWAYS comes to a fight in shape and prepared. His arognace doesn't allow him to bring anything less then hiis A game into a fight. The last time he had all this BS going on was when he fought Diego Corrales (RIP). Just remind the haters about that.

Floyd is a true PROFESSIONAL in the ring on fight night. He will get hit by Vic because he does against all southpaws he fights. He may go down. But we all forget it only matters how you respond to adversity. Ask Zab, chop chop, shane, etc. how floyd responds.

I just hope Vic is taking this fight seriously and isn't there for the payday! If he does we could see a really good fight.

Anyone can have an opinion that's what this site is about..Everyone has an opinion you gave yours and I gave mine no riddicule we just differ in the matter..

I understand Ortiz is young and that's why many like this fight,for me Ortiz being young is why I don't like the fight..I also said it was a decent fight,I would rather have seen Ortiz fight a Jones or a Karass tbh but hey can't knock Ortiz for chasing the money..I don't know about Ortiz as a better challenge for PBF then Mosley or JMM..They are both more skilled imo,the one thing he has over them is youth but I don't know how far that will get him..

Floyd is going to have an absolute field day with Vic. There is a chasm between these two when it comes to skill, and if Maidana could make Ortiz quit in a scrap, how do you reckon Vic is gonna like swinging at thin air whilst getting mercilessly peppered round after round.

Ortiz wont hear the bell for the ninth, he will either quit in frustration or get stopped.

Pac and Hatton fight nothing alike.

They don't for the most part,but there are a few things they do that are similar..Like head movement and all out pressure..Pac is better at both but those two things I see as very similar and things that can give May some problems..
