I like Ortiz but Floyd is another level, Ortiz is up and coming fighter, I remember Victor almost quit boxing by the beating of Maidana, Floyd is different hes so under rated coz of K.O% but hes consistent, I see Floyd-Gatti in the making, worst casing scenerio Vic will quit, and retires like Panchito Bojado.

I think that when you look at floyds most recent fights ricky hatton was the only true prime fighter floyd has fought in a long time, Victor ortiz is a prime super confident fighter with fire in his belly and comes to win unlike floyds last two fights with fighters coming for paychecks.

Floyd's a great fighter but his last two fights have been a farce coming in over the agreed weight with marquez and a trigger shy shot mosley are not impressive fights at all your talking 4 years since the hatton fight and the last time he was tested, all the signs are there of a fighter in decline over weight against marqeuz and rocked by mosley all his problems outside the ring it doesnt bode well ortiz will attack floyd with purpose something like i said he hasnt fought in a while .Ortiz does posses a danger for floyd at this time in his career but hell its FLOYD we are talking about hes one of the best all time fighters and its going to take something massive to beat him but there is always the possibility of the upset..

Ortiz is a fighter who backs straight back,he also has no jab to speak of..He also bull rushes which means he will be running into right hands all night..It's a decent fight but anyone acting or saying it's the best fight in yrs is just being delusional..Ortiz beats Berto(nothing more then a hype job himself)and now he has a shot at beating a Mayweather..Hahaha please come on surely this is a joke..This is nothing more then a tune up to get to Pac I hope..Ortiz has no shot,and by the way Hatton had more of a chance of beating May then I would give Ortiz right now..

But let me be clear Floyd Mayweather Jnr is a special talent and a great great fighter, he sould and will be favoured. The great thing about this fight tho is either Ortiz wins and Boxings got its self a new MEGASTAR or Vic brings the very best out of Floyd and that is a sight to behold - Mayweather in top gear showing his full repertoire

Agreed, my friend. I'm stoked, just like I was stoked for Berto-Ortiz because I could feel something in the air. And Ortiz brought it that night. I think he will do so again and Floyd is going to have to bring his A game. And 16 months out of the ring, 34 years and fighting since he was toddler, I'm not quite sure what that A game is at this point. Mayweather will rightfully be a solid favorite but don't be surprised if he gets caught with a right hook that puts him on ***** street, a la Corley. The elements are all there.
