Hilarious picture! Ortiz shouldn't be really talking crap since Maidana did make him quit. The only way to settle this is a rematch and this could probably go to a trilogy.

Wow!!! Idk if I have ever seen a boxer get owned harder then this before in my life. Ortiz gotta get back in there with Maidana. There's nothing he can say to counter this pic.

I think Ortiz should fight Aydin then rematch Maidana. No doubt from all this crap talking by Ortiz and now Maidana they can definitely build this fight up. Just with one fight in between for both, don't want to go the Arum route and wait over a year then one of the fighters gets beat.

You have guys like Williams and Taylor asking for rematches immediately. Taylor getting brutally stopped by Pavlik, then several months later a rematch takes place. Williams getting outboxed by Quintana, 5 months later a rematch. Mayweather not looking his best against Castillo, next fight is a rematch. You have Chad Dawson pulling the trigger on the rematch clause for Pascal, but of course the WBC didn't let it happen. You have Chad Dawson giving Johnson his rematch from their first close fight.
Then you have Khan getting knocked out in a matter of seconds and calls it an off night and say Presscot is not on his level but doesn't want to prove what he's saying. Ortiz quitting against Maidana in 6, now says Maidana is not on his level and doesn't want to rematch him, although he was the one who lost. And it's a little trend nowadays, I don't know if it's just an American thing to want a rematch with the guy that beat you/was in a close fight with you ASAP. But I only see Americans doing it[wanting a rematch]. The rest of the fighters, act like it's a cool thing to be brutally knocked out and just walk away. Man, Ray Robinson and Lamotta fought 6 times, why can't these fighters nowadays just fight at least twice, just a second fight against the guy that beat them, it doesn't have to be 6 fights.
Whatever, Ortiz and Khan, Cotto is another one who didn't dare rematch Margarito until now, 3 years later, he used the handwrap incident as his scapegoat to not fighting Margarito. Everyone else dodging rematches, can continue their career with their unavenged losses, but at the end of the day, people in the future will look through your resume, and see how you got owned by some one and you never dared to avenge that loss, then they will look at the old school fighters resume and see how they fought themselves up to 3 times commonly and they will notice the difference between a Golden Age fighter and a Copper Age fighter[which is my era unfortunately], sorry this is not the Bronze age, Bronze is too good to call these fighters. These guys are more like the Wood era or something like that, the Glass era.
Remember Margarito was suspended for a year, during that time Cotto fought fought Jennings, Clottey and Pacquiao (who gave him another severe beating) he moved up in weight and fought Foreman and Mayorga while Margarito fought in Mexico and then Pac who literaly put him out for a year otherwise the rematch would take place this summer. Cotto had two long layoffs after his beatings from Margarito and Pacquiao, which total more than a year I believe.
Please dont compare Cotto to Ortiz and Khan.
