If he gets credit for beating bigger guys now, he should get discredit for fighting smaller fighters at 130 and below. You can't have it both ways.
Bingo.. Took the words right off my keyboard lol.

Remember when Pac was coming in at 144 Pounds vs Morales? 140 something vs JMM.

Lol it is rofl-worthy. I mean come on.

You turn down a fight, twice, against The WBA/#1 ranked WW in the world Shane Mosley, because he didn't bring enough money to the table and is "too good"...then you turn around and fight the titleless, less of a draw, less accomplished fighter, less popular fighter, Joshua Clottey

Bro he fought Oscar at the LIMIT of 147 Pounds.

That was BEFORE the Cotto fight.
Ask some of the Manny haters what they think of that version of Oscar? Without mentioning any names, some of them were telling me that even Marquez could have beaten that version of Oscar.

For Manny's previous fight (Hatton), he fought at the 140 limit (weigh-in 138lbs).

They still had questions on whether they can truly beat a true WW. Not sure what's so hard to understand.

I wished it was at 147 but that is the way they felt. After seeing what he did to Cotto there was no question that he could have taken him on at 147lbs.......

Lets hope your pal Burner agrees and says PWill shouldn't get credit for beating 147lbers then if he was in the 160s at WW, the guy made the official weight so no issue but he typically weighs about what a good size LW weighs on FN.

Also way to duck my questions about him compared to other fighters, funny how a "Legit WW" can be smaller than JWWs and some LWs.

Williams and Martinez are both far to big in every way. On another oint, Manny P. is always referrred to as an 8 div champion. I've just looked at his record for another purpose, and noticed that he never held titles at either 118 or 140 lbs. So, including the 150 lb catchweight title fight with Margarito, he is a 6 div champion.

Paul only came in crazy heavy in the first Quintana fight.

Which he lost by the way. He weighed 164 Pounds. His heaviest at WW. Or JMW for that matter.

But Im saying bro. When you look at Pac nothing about him says "hey Im a lightweight'. That dude is a killer. Cmon man who are we kidding.

Other than scales no I guess, the man is a machine.....don't worry though Floyd gets full credit if he beats him because he has proven to carry himself well against the bigger guys.

I think that is what you guys are worried about so you won't admit the guy is a LW naturally who is overachieving.

140: [2009] Ricky Hatton, I have nothing bad to say about fighting Hatton. He was the Ring/Lineal champ at that weight class and was still undefeated at that weight class. Couldn't have picked a better fighter at 140.

                    147:[2009] Mosley instead of Cotto.

147: [2010] Clottey was alright I have nothing against that match on paper Clottey is tough fighter it's not Manny's fault Clottey didn't show up. Berto over Mosley.

150: No fighter whatsoever. 150 is not weight class. If he wanted to win a JMW title then he should have fought at 154 vs an actual top 10 154 guy. Not Margarito, who wasn't tanked top 10 P4P, wasn't ranked top 10 WW, and wasn't ranked top 10 JMW.
Regarding Manny P's fight against Hatton I completely discount the RING "championship" anyway, but according to Boxrec, when he fought Hatton, it was only for the obscure IBO title. Considering the 4 major belts, Manny P. is a 6 div. champion, not an 8 div. champion as is always written. No 118 nor 140 major belts.

As far as i know apart from JMM, Mayweather weighed less than all of his opponents on fight night and up until his lay off always weighed in the 140s or less, i guess he's a natural LW too.
