  • For both of them to be honest, neither has fought anyone of note yet this is the biggest fight at 147 since Crawford/Spence which tells you how poor the division currently is. I mean Barrios is another belt holder if the winner can unify with him we're pretty close to an undisputed fight again involving...

  • Nothing, the pressure is on Canelo as the favorite to not just win but stop the welter coming up....

  • True but Zayas has come along step by step textbook how a fighter should in my opinion so this is the last step to see what he is made of and if he can be a top fighter at 154. I don't know yet but we'll find out....

  • Its generally a bad idea to square up because you can easily be knocked off balance without a backfoot to lean on if pressed but as for difficulty to hit opponents? It depends on your skill/physical advantages vs theirs....

  • Yet this is a unification and the biggest 147lb fight since Spence/Bud, both just aren't big names or had any real stand out fights yet but this could be it....

  • The inactivity started in 2017 when he was at his peak and had alot of momentum then for the reasons you mentioned so he is just trying to cash out. It seems he is following the "Zab is back baby" method, 1. fight unknown journeymen or 2, fight someone who is ok but beatable for a vacant title,...

  • As did all of ours but are you close to retirement? At least the money you're putting in now through it is invested at lower prices so should work out long term after all is said and done. Either that or global finance crumbles from this and all of the rob Paul to pay Peter non sense its built on....

  • Plenty of other nuances, if the fighter you want to win is coming forward but walking into counters they're the one trying to make the fight. Alternatively if the fighter who you want to win is a low output counter puncher who uses their legs more than hands you score all of the slipped or missed punches...

Truly a cash out since he was 39 I think with bad legs so time to sell that lineal title, it was I would imagine his biggest single payday....

Kind of Sergio's fault for going into that fight for the payday against Cotto when he had no business in the ring hobbling around....

  • He will though, this is why he dumped it. Turkey wants the 3rd fight and pays very well so that is what you do.

Benavidez can fight buff guy Yarde....

It was one of Floyd more competitive fights too against a far more dimished fighter that peak Pac steamrolled. At 154 he cherrypicks Yuri Foreman who hurts his leg so Cotto can get a meaningless trinket, loses to Austin Trout, later beats crippled Sergio Martinez for the lineal MW title at a catch weight...

  • So Janibek is just going to avoid Lara and Adames at all costs, fight random euro fighters, keep begging for a payday payday payday, and claim everyone is ducking him. We saw this movie and how it played out.

  • Which was caused by the PPP loans and the stimi checks under Donnie the first time, you can't print 20% of all money that ever existed in the economy and not have consequences. Inflation as a result of this is slow moving, it takes about 18 months for people to feel it but the public got suckered in...
