Martinez is a GREAT FIGHTER & he's proving it!! Just look at Martinez last 5 in fights, he got robbed of a KO & a decision the same night in his draw against Kermit Cintrón(the ref & the judges REALLY ***ed up that night), then against Williams he lost by decision in a close fight I & many others thought he won, then he clearly beat middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik, then he KNOCKED Williams THE *** OUT in 2 rounds & now he clearly beat by KO undefeated 154lbs solid & proven champion Dzinzuruk!!! His last 5 fights were all TOP OF THE LINE opponents & NONE were easy or push over's & in NONE of those fights he had or was GIVEN any ADVANTAGES over his opponents!!! That alone should make him the P4P TOP DOG!!!

Miguel has made a career out of fighting the best, Martinez is no different. Martinez would beat Miguel but in no way, shape, or form is he scared of him. Cotto will always be my favorite fighter and I'm a big fan of Sergio so I'd go to this fight but I really wouldn't want it to happen. Miguel would probably be hurt in this fight.

Yes he can fight at 168 but he's more close to 154 and i for one would LOVE to see him against all those 4 names, Whoever wants to step up out of those names, You wouldnt see me making excuses or telling Martinez to move up just because he has Mayweather on his sight.
I could care less but if you put me on the spot I say he should stay at 160 and try to go to 154 for a money fight against those guys you just mentioned.
FWIW none of those guys have came out and turned down a fight with Martinez kinda making these arguments in this thread a moot point. I think we should let everything play out before claiming anyone is ducking the next guy.

Whether you hate him or love him, Cotto's resume speaks for itself. He has always fought great fighters and hasn't ducked anyone. Until Cotto officially comes out and turns this down you can't call it ducking....unless your just a troll or something.

Guys like Floyd, Manny, Cotto did there job moving up weight so can he.
Martinez said want to be a number 1 P4P fighter then he must be go north unfortunately for him no cash cow there. If he can still make at 154 why he didn't fight Dzindziruk at 154? Credit for him defending his belt against a fighter nerver fought at 160(Correct me if I'm wrong) but it is a much credit if he challenge Dzindziruk at 154 and hold 2 belts in 2 division at the same time.
