No, my point is this:

If Martinez says he is too small for 168, then I'm cool with that. If Martinez wants to take a money fight against Cotto instead of facing Pirog....cool Martinez definitely deserves it.

Me bringing up those points are only to highlight certain posters hypocrisy.

People will have a heart attack if any of those guys came out and said Sergio is too big for them (something they haven't done or hinted at) yet they give Sergio a pass for doing so.

Then people bash Manny for facing shot fighters in Margarito and Mosley. Well if those guys are shot then you have to say Miguel is as well.

FWIW I want to see Pacquiao vs Martinez because I feel alot of people will be shocked. The thing though is Cotto isn't facing Martinez before he facing Margarito and neither Floyd or Manny are facing Martinez before facing each other....or until they give up trying to make the fight happen. That's not a duck it's just those are the fights that make more sense right now and the best thing Martinez can do is just continue to dominate and one of thosebig names will fight him eventually.

Agreed. The FACT is that Sergio is a bigger man than all these little dudes he is calling out like a hero, is sad. Maybe there is nobody to fight at 168lbs, and maybe beating his body down to 160lbs makes him feel like a "man" but let's not lose sight of the fact that Sergio walking along Manny or Miguel would look like their father in terms of height and build. To hear this btch say " Manny if you're a man, you will fight me." is ridiculous. It's like me rolling up to a middle school and yelling through the gate during recess: "Hey kids, if you are men, you will come over here and fight me!"

I like Sergio as a fighter, he is good, but the fact remains, the division is not exactly stacked right now. He is lucky men like Benn, Jackson, Jones, Hopkins etc etc are out of town.

he's trying a bernard hopkins..... but he doesn't need to.... cos he's a very entertaining fighter...

he needs to keep building his own appeal.... and not rely on fighting the smaller more popular fighters....

still plenty of good fights to be made at middleweight.... sturm is still around and there are some rising stars.... so he'll have plenty of fights if he wants them...

cotto, pacquiao, mayweather.... he should forget about..... too small.... and cotto's way past it....

i guess beating margarito could be an option, avenging his only real loss.... but he's said before he doesn't want that fight - cos he's too good for tony..... but who knows... margarito's definitely big enough.....

im just keeping **** real - martinez fighting manny pacquiao would be like manny pacquiao fighting a guy who walks around at 115-120 pounds hahaha. OR, that would be like tomasz adamek calling out martinez. I WANT TO SEE THE FIGHT, and of course id love for it to get made, because i think pacquiao has a good chance to win. as does cotto/ martinez can be beat, and KO'd if approached properly.
