Cotto was coming off a KO loss to Margarito, and a lackluster performacne against Clottey. Clottey was coming off a loss to Cotto. And Margarito was coming off a KO loss to Mosley.

Mayweather fought an undefeated Diego Corrales. Mayweather fought a Castillo coming off a win over Stevie Johnson. He fought a Baldomir coming off a win over Judah. He fought a Hatton who was undefeated and coming off a KO win of Castillo. He fought a JMM (after a two year layoff) who was coming of a win (in 75% of those watching) against then then P4P #1 and KO victories over Casamayor and Diaz. He fought a Mosley who was coming off a KO win over Margarito.

If you can't see the differences, you're either dumb, ******, or ******ed.
you are saying the glass is half-full for floyd and half empty for pac... they both fought guys "rebuilding losses", "coming off loses" as you put it. you can make all the excuses you want but zab came off a loss.. oscar, shane both recently lost... jmm and hatton moved up in weight... those are FACTS, cant be disputed... how you look at it is OPINION...

Since the first Pac-Floyd negotiations fell through for March 13, 2010, Clottey filled in and became a legit TUNE-UP for Pacquiao in anticipation for Pacquiao-Mayweather to happen by the end of 2010!! Golden Boy, Top Rank and the rest of us expected Pacquiao-Mayweather would happen in 2010!! Then Floyd went "on vacation" and then his life IMPLODED before our very eyes!!

The fight would have happened already if it wasn't for Pacquiao
in the first place. Don't see the logic in some of you saying Floyd
ducked Pacquaio when indeed it is the other way around. Pac won't
even give Marquez a 3rd fight, so I am sure that they don't want
none with Floyd. Especially since Mosley is already picked to fight
        Pacquiao.

NEVER forget why the fight EVERYONE wanted to see
        didn't happen.
Pacquiao and Mayweather had agreed to unlimited random urine testing, but Mayweather also insisted on random blood testing, even though the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which would oversee the bout at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, requires only urine testing.

Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KOs) didn't want blood testing but later relented and agreed to three blood tests: one during the week of the kickoff news conference, which would have taken place next week, one random test to be conducted no later than 30 days before the fight and a final test in his dressing room after the fight. Mayweather (40-0, 25 KOs) would be subject to the same testing procedures.

When they could not come to an agreement, Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions, which represents Mayweather, turned to a mediator, retired judge Daniel Weinstein, who had successfully mediated a series of disputes between Top Rank and Golden Boy in 2007.

But after nine hours in mediation on Tuesday in Santa Monica, Calif., and further attempts to come to a resolution on Wednesday failed, the fight was pronounced dead by the Pacquiao camp.

Bob does not want Manny to fight JMM because he has the tools to beat him I think JMM won both fights my theory on this is bob is paranoid because a lot of the boxing public feels that JMM won the second fight and Boxing insiders felt the same way to Bob might feel that if the 3 fight is close the judges might be give JMM a sympathy win because the judges screwed him over in the past JMM will receive more attention than Pac in the third match fans feel like he won people will rally around JMM like no other Pac opponent Bob won't like that either he asked Freddie Roach who was the easiest for Pac to handle I bet the name Shane Mosley came out first not JMM

Pacquiao fighting Shane Mosley would make me happy, since it would be an all action fight for as long as it lasted. But I don't think Freddie Roach would like this matchup for Pacquiao. I think they will eventually push for Marquez.

Mosley is shot and people knows that after his last fight.Andre Berto is a live opponent for Manny,he's young, strong and fast.Marquez would be good too but I think Pacman is going to KO him this time,Katsidis is slow but was able to tag and knock down Marquez.Pacman has evolved since his last fight with Marquez.

Pacquiao had EVERY RIGHT to say NO to random blood testing and negotiate since he's never failed a test or been caught like Mosley!! Floyd is the ONLY boxer making ridiculous demands like this because he's afraid. NO other boxer is demanding this of their opponents!! So Floyd used random blood testing to flat out DUCK Pacquiao!! After Floyd asked for a 14 day cut-off, Pacquiao later agreed to a 7 day cut-off!!!! So obviously Floyd accepted the fight, right?? Uhhh...Floyd went on vacation and then royally sabotaged his life!!! Go ahead and keep deluding yourself buddy!!

Look at them...making up their own timelines, using three exclamation points to hammer home a point that was debunked months ago. Take your own advice, kid.

It will be a very boring day for Boxing if any of these fights come together & I'd bring a pillow to watch too. You can call in any of these fights from home. Lame, lame, lame.
