I dont blame sergio for wanting this fight.

As much as I dont like pac, a 160lb shouldnt pick a fight with a 147lbs, thats just keeping it real.

The guy has all the advantage in the world coming in that fight. If Pac wins Ill become a *******, and thats how much I believe that he'll lose.

The question is would Pacquiao have got the belt or at least attempted to when Sergio had it but they jumped right on it as soon as he let it go..8th title my ass

Progress. You obviously have a bit of hate within you, but you're capable of being objective too. The next step is to stop being biased towards Mayweather and you'll be a fully fledged boxing fan again.

They didn't jump on it. Pacquiao and Margarito agreed to fight at a catchweight and the WBC decided to attach their initials to it. Why do you worry about alphabet straps anyway? In the age of multiple, worthless belts; opposition is all that matters.

Why is martinez going down to look for fighters?

Seems to be all he wants to do is fight a big name to get a big following

He has targeted Pac, Floyd and Cotto--the 3 biggest draws in boxing
This sums it up for me and Good for him. hes not getting any younger so lets cash in now. god Bless him.

Pacman will rather face a 37 year old Marquez at 147 pounds or an older shot Mosley that Mayweather dispatched earlier this year than take on a challenge that could risk a mega money showdown with Mayweather.

Oh, and don't worry about what your forum "buddies" will think of your sensible and considered answer either. They're not really your friends.
Tell me something why is it ok for Pacquiao not to come in at the agreed upon weight but not Mayweather? Everyone (*******s) gave Mayweather **** for not coming in at the agreed upon weight with Marquez by 2 pounds. But Pac misses the agreed upon weight with Margarito by 4 pounds and noone says anything? Mayweather said he wanted to fight at a weight he was comfortable at. Pac said he wanted to retain speed. So if Mayweather cheated then so did Pac. I think if Mayweather fights Pac he should demand Pac pay 10 million dollars for every pound he's under 147. Fair is fair no double standards. People said Mayweather has a history of not coming in at the agreed upon weight (after only ONE catchweight fight) and now so does Pac. So let's keep it real. OH and didn't Freddie Roach say Pac is a natural welterweight now? Yeah so no more talk about how Pac is really a lightweight or jww.

Martinez was willing to fight Pacquiao at 155-pounds, which Arum rejected. Pacquiao holds the WBC title at 154-pounds, but he plans to return to the welterweight division in his next fight.

it was Pavlik AND Marg....both lost fights they were HEAVY favs in a 3 month span.....I think that made Bob more cautious about who he matches his cash cows up against....the Top Rank match makers also made a boo boo back when they matched Zahir Raheem against E Morales....one thing about the TR squad is that they DO learn from their mistakes

Based on the solid rumour mill that is Boxing Scene.

You're giving a guy **** for coming in light???!!! LOL, you've obviously been at this Pac v May thing for way too long, boss. Relax, I'm not a ******* or the enemy - just someone trying to offer a little objectivity.

                      Too light - LOL.
