He's been fighting the same two guys for like the last three years, Bradley and Marquez plus "brandon rios" and "chris algieri".

For the sake of Pacquiao's true fanbase i hope the Cold War ends sometime before 2016. Floyd is good, he got great options over at the GBP/Al Haymon stable.
We will have to wait & watch who Floyd fights in 2015. Manny facing Algieri is as bad as Floyd facing Maidana & forcing him not to wear punchers gloves. He wants the world to believe that he's facing a heavy hitter..but he wont let Maidana use the commission approved gloves. As of now that's Floyd's legacy..glove gate.

Manny may have fought the same guys over the last 2 years namely..Marquez, Bradley & Rios (after getting KO'd by Marquez)..but lets not kid ourselves that all of those fights were more exciting & fun to watch than Mayweather-Guerrero, Mayweather-Canelo. Even when Manny got KO'd in that round against Marquez..everyone who was watching was on the edge of their seats all those rounds. Mayweather's recent fights have been lacking excitement.

Floyd is his own match maker, he has always had great options @ GBP/Al Haymon..despite that we get the glove gate from him...apart from the glove gate his recent fights have been lack luster.

As of now Mayweather is gonna be remembered as the guy who fought a power puncher & did not allow him to wear punchers gloves.

Floyd = the guy who acts as the Commissioner & tells his opposition not to wear the actual commission approved gloves. When the opposition says no, he pays them $1.5m to not make a scene & go with the gloves he chose initially. Rich people have a way of getting what they want I guess.

Algieri may not have any power..Maidana without punchers gloves is the same.

You can't expect Floyd Mayweather Jr to give a Manny Pacquiao kind of performance, that's just not what Floyd is. He is a defensive minded fighter and who can blame the kid? wheter you think he has faced "weak" opposition his formula has been flawless to the point where he has been a P4P fighter since the 90's, never been dropped, never been beaten etc etc. I personally think Saul "Canelo" Alvarez would defeat with relatively ease each of Manny Pacquio's last five opponents.

I personally would not put "chris algieri" in the same category as Chino, given that Marcos Maidana has shared the ring with fighters such as Amir Khan, Adrien Broner, Erik Morales, Devon Alexander and Victor Ortiz.

"chris algieri" carreer highlight is a split decision over a good fighter, yeah Ruslan good but he ain't no P4P, he's not even the best there is at 140. It is indeed a great achievement for algieri but no way it should earn him a fight with a P4P fighter above his weight class.

Like i stated earlier in here, Manny fcked up BIG TIME by re signing with Bob Arum. For the sake of the true Pacman fans i really hope the Cold War ends as soon as possible.

Yes, he avoided a lot of fighters during his career.

Floyd chose to fight the safest (often older faded guys or limited sluggers) but not the best available.

The October issue of Ring surveyed many boxing writers and historians on the greatest fighters of the Modern Era (post-WWII). They were each asked to rank the 20 greatest fighters with 1st receiving 20 points, 2nd receiving 19, 3rd receiving 18, etc... with first place votes bracketed. Pac is going to be remembered as one of the greatest champions to have ever graced the ring.

Floyd is going to be remembered for that great defensive style but he will be remembered as the coward who wouldn't fight Pac, held the whole boxing world ransom and flushed his legacy completely down the toilet mainly.

Pac even if he retires now or a few years ago or losses a few before he finally retires Floyd will never surpass Pac accomplishments. 8 divisions champ, 4 linear divisions champ and Fighter of the Decade Floyd only can dream of.
pac didnt win 8 title son sorry to disappoint you.. and floyd has four lineal titles and 5 wbc titles unified 147 and 154 at the age of 37..pac is fighting rios, algeri, and vargas..all 140lber with no rep/

floyd is already ranked #12 by ring pac is at #26 and he will only sink lower fighting the jessie vargases of the world.
