He did it a bunch of times when Pac fought GBP fighters back when he was pulling in 300-400K, Just last year he fought Hatton who wasn't a TR fighter. Pacquiao-Williams will do better than that fight and Pacquiao/Top Rank will get a larger cut than they did against Hatton.

There are no TR fighters available for May. Cotto-Chavez in the Spring kills any possibility that Manny fights in house next. Notice how all of the fighters Arum mentioned are not in his stable.

Tell me what Top Rank options Manny has for May?

hatton was the 3rd or 4th biggest draw in boxing at the time, and that fight did what, 850-900K?

williams is not a draw, can't sellout his own fights, and has NEVER EVER even been on a PPV UNDERCARD before. no way that fight beats pacquiao-clottey, let alone pacquiao-hatton.

keep in mind, pacquiao-cotto only did 1.2, you think pacquiao-williams does 900K??? especially if williams loses next month?

For you guys who think P-Will is undeserving of a Pacman or Floyd fight! I hope you are the same people saying Margarito isn't deserving of the Pacman fight I think he is more deserving then anybody right now so after he cleans up Martinez then he should be next in line to fight Pacman no excuses from the Pac camp because the entire world knows Floyd(scared) is not going to fight Pac so we can all stop wishing for that and P-Will shouldn't have to fight Cotto after he dominated Margacheato who damm near killed Cotto!!! If he makes 147, he's a welterweight. So does that matter? Especially since he's the skinniest Middleweight around and hasn't had anywhere near the right amount of time to fill out as a 160lber. He's fought at 160 3 times going on 4, and he weight 152 his last fight.

Not trying to go there but in all honesty, I don't believe
Manny Pacquiao will fight anyone out of the Top Rank
stable because he is safe in his comfort zone. Also,
people actually think Manny Pacquiao will fight Paul
Williams? Please! I suggest you don't hold your breath.
Pac wouldn't even get in the ring with Mosley who was
the #1 WW at the time. In all actuality, Manny hasn't
fought any fighter in a long time that can box and uses
equal to more speed. Manny hasn't even fought a black
American (Not talking about from Africa) fighter in perhaps
his whole career and I'm not even coming at it from a racist
point of view but just a factual one. there's no way I can
make this up. If Arum, Roach and Pac didn't want the fight
with Mosley then for sure their not going to put Pac in there
with someone of Paul's size and ability, perhaps making it
possible to beat Pac. On top of that! Paul Williams is not
even a Top Rank fighter so Bob definitely doesn't want Manny
to lose to a rival and get paid of that. Maybe or maybe not
Pac can beat Williams but most likely we will not find out.

If Paul was fighting at 160 and had Floyd or Manny blown up to a 157 catchweight and then came in at 160 anyway, then yeah, you'd have an apt comparison

Williams is offering to drain himself to 147 to fight them, did Floyd offer to go down to 135 to fight Marquez?

No! Marquez offered to come up and fight Floyd because
he issued the challenge. Same as Manny accepting De La Hoya's
challenge and moving up to fight him. I doubted Manny because
of his size and counted him out and he proved me wrong. We
all know that Manny and Marquez are different but who knew
beforehand what would happen if they moved up. I think many
had a problem with Floyd fighting Marquez because we all know
Floyd is far more superior boxing skill wise to be fighting a smaller
Marquez coming up. Floyd had about an inch over Marquez
and outweighed him by a couple of pounds. Paul Williams is
like 6'2". Sure he was campaigning at WW but clearly he
has and is too big to be fighting at WW because no one
wants to fight him because of his size. I'm sure if Williams
beat Pac some people will say Williams was too big and same for
goes for Floyd. My point is, Williams size compared to Manny is
a more big difference than Marquez and Pac to Floyd. Paul
needs to show what he is really made of, stay and fight in
the higher weight classes where he wouldn't have to chase
fights.
