And if by some miracle Jr wins, then you have another blockbuster and easy fight for Manny in the fall, but that's where Pacquiao vs Cotto/Chavez winner will be- in the fall. Pac needs an opponent for May, no TR fighters will be available then.

Pac has fought 3 straight TR fighters, but before that he fought a bunch of GB stock in a row, like 5 or 6, so stop with that 'he only fights TR fighters ****. Arum, Roach, Buboy have all mentioned Williams as a possibility. Paul requested a CW w/ Martinez so he can have an easier time making 147 for his next fight. It makes perfect sense and Pac has shown he is willing to take risks against guys who dwarf him. IMO, Margarito is more dangerous than Williams for Pac.

Come on man! You come off as a smart guy so you know
if Manny beats Margarito, make way for Pacquiao/Cotto 2.
Cotto and Chavez have plenty of time to fight early next
year to have Pac and Cotto fight in May. I'm not sure
about who is more dangerous for Pac because Williams beat
Margarito. I say Williams should stay up in the higher weight
classes and have smaller guys come and fight him.

Chavez fights Gomes in December. Generally, he takes 3-6 months off in between his fights so the EARLIEST that Cotto-Chavez could take place is March, but that's unlikely since Jr would need more time to cut weight from 160 to 154 and Top Rank wants to have time to promote that fight. So in all likliehood that fight would be held around the time of Pac's next fight. Arum could combine Pac vs whoever and Cotto-Chavez on one super card but that's highly doubtful.

So no, Pacquiao-Cotto won't be happening in the Spring.

And Paul Williams uses his size and length and even less than Margarito and he's easier to hit, especially for a southpaw. Plus Antonio has the better chin IMO.

        Williams would brutally KO Pacquiao.
The guy has never met a right hook his face didn't like. Sergio was tagging him at will and would've won easily if he didn't gas/fade during the middle of the first fight. Pacquiao at 147 hits much harder, is much faster, is more mobile, and has better stamina than Martinez at 160 (lb for lb). Pacquiao would dance circles around him, hack away at his stick figure frame, and it would be Manila Ice time all night, or as Hatton put it- "same move every time, right hook roll under, right hook, roll under".

Paul Williams' size would be a factor if he knew how to use it. If he learned how to box, no one from 147-160 could beat him. As it stands, Pac beats him by brutal KO inside of 7.

I guess you didn't know this but P.Williams next fight is at a catchweight. Not too many complaints though...... hmmm

If Paul Williams wins, I demand Williams vs Floyd if pac vs floyd doesnt get made again!

I wanna see lil Floyd step his competition up and that goes for pacqauio too! I'm tired of them fighting past or over the hill, drained champions! I want see them challenge themselves were the odds isn't that heavy in there favor, like there suppose to beat that opponent with ease or very little effort at all.

I think if Floyd doesn't fight Pac-man, the next best option would be Paul Williams or Sergio Martinez, that would be a redefining fight for Floyd!

Floyd and Pac just need to fight each other.

Paul Williams will never get Mayweather or Pacquiao. There are enough fights for him at junior middleweight (Cotto, Mosley or Alvarez) and middlewieght (Sturm, Pavlik or Martinez). If he wins his fight against Martinez he could possibly move up to supe middleweight, where there is even more talent.
