Tell me this, since you seem to be in more denial than a cheated-on wife ; if there was NO plaster, or anything close to it - WHY'D HE GET BANNED? Answer me that. And if the ban was BULL****, why didn't he hire a good lawyer to fight it? Why he let it ride ? If there was some explantation to this, trust me as a fighter who values his career as Tony does im sure he would have done everything in his right to prove he was innocent instead of waiting. No fighter is that dumb to just let the whole incident sit there ; unless their guilty and know they can't fight it cause of that.
The pads were also touched by at least 15 people after they were confiscated. Including people from Mosley's camp.

I think he only waited because he didn't wanna rock the boat. The same reason he didn't apply in other states and just waited out his suspension before fighting.

it means he doesn't know if capetilla has always used that same exact pad or what capetilla puts in the pads.

all he knows is that capetilla puts in a pad.

But upon touching the pads he acknowledged, “It does feel like something.”
It was not hard as rock,” he said. “But firmer than regular gauze. There was old, dried blood on it. It was not consistent with new gauze.” It also felt “wet.”

Only Inspector Mike Bray described the pad as having a “white substance on it. I touched the substance and it was hard to the touch. It looked like plast caster or maybe a thicker type of white out that you use for paper. I then placed the pad in a box to maintain custody of the pad.”
It's harder then normal. He tried cheating.

          edit: someone already said htis
Say your right, it was plaster. How do you use plaster? You add water, mix, apply then LET DRY TO HARDEN. So how exactly would the plaster dry in a damp glove with no air circulation?

Then he should have fought it if he believed he was framed. He knew he was doing wrong, so he sat there and didn't do anything. This guy is rich, he could afford a top-notch lawyer don't you think? Why didn't he? The boxing game gives him alot of income, why he just stop trying to fight again? One year is a long time to recieve no paycheck. And if Mosley framed him, then Richardson would have called the fight off, he was asked to and said he wanted to still have the fight one. Richardson thought Margarito was going to jail and that Mosley wasn't going to be able to fight. If Margarito was legit without the wraps, then he should have crushed Mosley that night.

This guy and his so called father figure got caught cheating. And the inspector saw nothing wrong until Richardson called them out on it.

It needs oxygen. Have you put a boxing glove before? Even if its tighty on, all you have todo is close and open your hands and inside your producing air aka oxygen.

I have not ever seen a fighter who does not know what is going into his wraps.

So margachito's culpability can be reduced to these analogues:

He's either bush ******, grossly irresponsible and arrogant or cheney sly and evil. Either way, the responsibility is his. He needs to stop his whining, the sniveling sod.

Lol, why cuz' it was old and used? Thats what happens to crusty ass wraps too. Thats a far cry from an elaborate plot to plaster coat some gauze.

I take everything Richardson says with a huge grain of salt. This guy is the same one who tried to imply Tito was cheating too.

He's from the Bernard Hopkins school of psych warfare before fights. He did this to try and destabilize the Margarito camp. It worked obviously.

Not that HE'LL ever admit to it.

Wow, your a genius. The lab said the gauze contained 2/3 ingredients to make plaster. the dry material (powder you buy in a box) is CaSO4 (one calcium molecule, one sulfur and 4 oxygen) The Oxygen is a component of the molecule, not an ingredient you add to use plaster of paris. You add water to activate the plaster (making a new molecule) and after that water is added you must let it dry before it hardens. How well could anything dry in a boxing glove during a match when water (via sweat) is constantly being added?
