Does this mean he's used Plaster of Paris in the past? This quote confused me. Is he saying that he's used a similar knuckle pad before?

I guess what he's trying to say is he couldn't feel the difference. To be honest i'm not so sure as to wether he was suspended for plaster of paris or the illegal pad in his wraps.

The commissioners are on him pretty good right now. Margarito said he did not ask Capetillo why he used a pre-made knucklepad for the fight even though it was out of the ordinary.

All boxers use those little rolls of gauze over their knuckles. This whole suspension was over a non issue. Its more of a technicality than anything else. Under csac rules its an "infraction". Which is like getting a ticket for driving without a seatbelt.
