I stated two days ago, in two different posts, that whilst everyone was fretting about the cutoff date for OST's, they were all missing the point..... and that the money would be the determining factor as to whether this fight gets made. Of course Mayweather would want more money.

What sort of a businessman turns down a reasonable offer, then turns up four months later expecting the same offer to be still sitting on the table.

I have never heard of such a thing happening.

Mayweather was crazy to accept 50% during the earlier negotiations, and he was even crazier to accept the 10 million overweight clause. In hindsight, it almost sounds as if he was desperate to get that fight made.

Arum and Pac needed to take that 50% while it was sitting on the table.

They will not get 50% now.

Exactly what I was thinking before. I thought Floyd really wanted to make the fight happen so bad that he agreed to the 50/50 split which he shouldn't have which shows that Pac never wanted this fight.

I am at work, and I don't have much time at the moment, lucky for you.....

I was gonna rip you a new ******* over your childish comments, but, I have a funny feeling that would be a complete waste of my time.

        I'll leave it, for now.....

That's the problem sir. Mayweather has gone out and beaten the #3 P4P fighter in the world and doubled Pac's most recent PPV event. Not to mention, he took it to 500K more PPVs sold than Pac in his two fight return to the sport. That combined with Mayweather having outdrawn Pac at a 2:1 clip with common opponents, I don't see how anyone could think that its ridiculous that he would be asking for a bigger share of the money.

I love it!!!!!!!!! That was "A-GAME" my dude.

              Actually, I wont leave it.....

Your comments are childish and irrational. You sound like you are talking about the two big kids at school. Try to see this for what it is.

It is plainly obvious that Mayweather came back for Pacquiao.

Jeez guy, he announced his comeback on the MORNING of the Pac/Hatton fight, against Manny's old adversary Marquez. You need a diagram to figure that out?

Pac could easily have accepted the same OST terms back in January, that he agreed to a couple of days ago.....
              //krikya360.com/?m=show&id=28021
but you think that Floyd requesting OST's was an excuse for him to duck the fight because of FEAR?

So, then Mayweather insisting that Mosley take OST's before their fight was just Floyd's way of ducking Mosley?

Because, he knew that Mosley would never accept those ridiculous demands right?

              Jeez, Mayweather was lucky.....
just imagine if Shane had called his bluff and taken those nasty tests

It is absolutely ridiculous for you to think that the OST request was a duck.

Mayweather could have used any of the following "duck excuses, because they are ALL better than your one..........

              FLOYD: "**** off, you're not a draw"
FLOYD: "**** off, you've had too many losses"
              FLOYD: "**** off, you're not getting 50%"
FLOYD: "**** off, 10 million per pound overweight is ridiculous"
FLOYD: "**** off..... just **** off"

If they actually manage to make this thing happen, then at least two people will learn a lot about boxing on the night of the fight.

I hear that Hulk Hogan is scared of Floyd.

The fact is Mayweather goes into these talks in a stronger position than he was in when negotiations fell apart during the first attempt to make boxing richest fight. I don't think it's reasonable to come back to the negotiating table with the same set of expectations you had prior to the last performances of both fighters. That sort of reasoning makes no sense, because the fact is over both fighters last two fights, it's Pacquiao that's dropped while Mayweather's has increased in value aka PPV sales. Overall, his stock has risen while Pacquiao's has essentially stayed the same.

I'm not sure why Mayweather's camp would go in with the same mentality they had before PBF's last fight, this is business. And I don't get the double standard that's at work here. Pacquiao gets to make whatever accommodations for his side he wishes when he has the leverage, but if Mayweather does the same thing he's trying to duck the fight? Like it or not there's a certain amount of leverage that comes with the dollars he is able to generate. It's common sense at its most sensible.

This business of the Pacquiao camp crying foul in public over the last several days is indeed unseemly, but it's all part and parcel of the politics of boxing. They know their leverage has eroded so they hope going public with all the details of the negotiations will somehow coerce the Mayweather camp into a position more favorable to themselves. But in my way of thinking bitching to the media won't change the fact that they can't dictate the terms of the fight anymore.
                    very good post bro
