Those numbers would be 300k shy of what I expected but anything over a million buys is a success in my view. It's still better than Pacquaio/Clottey's 700k

you could flip that, imagine if it was pac who ask for the test that kill the fight, everyone will be calling pac a ducker who uses that additional unnecessary, unheard test that kill the fight. I would be calling pac a ducker too if he did that thing.

to the poster that said the average monthly income in the philippines is about 200.00/month...

heres is a link with samples of monthly incomes in the phillippines (IN u.s dollars) in the non peverty / big cities

i dont see any jobs that pays $200.00/month...again, you are only basing your info off of the poverty section of where pacquiao grew up, not the bigger cities in the phillipines.

Thats what I was thinking , kinda hope it is a little lower than Pac Cotto then we wont have any purse problems in negotiation like if Floyd would have romped in the numbers .

False. I drove home just to order this fight in SA. My HD PPV worked just fine. Anything less than 1.75 is huge disappointment. Period. No spin needed. And the "mega" bout will be no different. He was up against his "toughest" comp to date and how did the public respond? The public perception that pbf is unbeatable has permeated throughout and the jig is up. Boxing has hit its ceiling also.

But then on the other hand, how many million plus buys has the golden boy had or any other fighter had? I guess there is some truth to pbf's perceived generating power. But, he does grossly over rate it.
