The thing most of u guys are missing out on is- many ppl including myself, are willing to skip out on the sideshows put forth by Floyd and Manny. After what they pull at the negotiating table and the back and forth dramas, most people are just exhausted. People want to see them fight each other, so after the negotiating fell apart people are subconsciously boycotting them fighting no one else other than each other, so i am not surprised by the relatively low numbers each fight has produced post-negotiation, to the fight of the decade.

May and Mosley more than 1.2M (wait and see)
Pac and Cotto 1.2M
May and Marquez 1M
Pac and Clottey 700K

In my opinion in the first negotiations shouldn't have been a 50/50 split. If you take into account post Del La Hoya fight numbers against the same opponents. Mayweather vs Del La Hoya hold the record for PPV sales 2.5 mill. Pacquiao Del La Hoya does 1.5 mill. Mayweather Hatton does 950,000 PPV sales, Pacquiao vs Hatton does 850,000 PPV sales and it's not a matter of whose fans tune in to watch Mayweather fights, the fact is that they are tuning in to see their fighter fight Mayweather. So if Mosley fans brought in 600,000 buys last week end, trust me they would not have paid to see him fight anyone else, so either way we know who the draw really is. Also take into account that Mayweather is the only fighter that broadcast fights in theaters, we know that this will effect PPV sales. But either way with 1.4 mill and the Closed Circuit sales I am sure that no money was loss. And I doubt the issue that will prevent Mayweather Pacquiao from occurring will be the split. It will likely be the same issue that ended negotiations last time and that's the drug testing protocol. So you chose who you want to blame for that, but either way being that 2 fighters just participated in USADA testing with no problems, Mayweather now has more leverage and Pacquiao's image will be negatively impacted if he refuses to embrace the same testing procedures Mayweather Mosley just participated in.

60/40 split for pac no blood test. LMAO failure of a ppv number based on the early estimations from schaefer and other ppl, and from you *****s the numbers are a failure. good numbers in general though. lol.
