He can only win if it's a non-struggle fight, where Vlad is in full control of the fight. If he has to struggle, he will get cought and go down.

Even if Castillo does drop him, I can't see it being the deciding factor in the fight. With exception of the Brewster fight, he has always gotten up from KDs. Now whether or not he's learned to hang on, cover up or run when he's hurt, we'll just have to wait and see. I still see Wlad walking right through Castillo, maybe having to chase him down in order to do it lol

Probably right that Vlad ha good chance of simply walking right thru Castillo. But, I disagre on the KD reaction, because I see it as one the more important deciding factors. We'll know very fast if Vlad is back, if he doesn't turn to mush and keeps ging as you expect he will. I see Vlad reacting very poorly to a KD, because he knows Castillo is supposed to be a 3rd-rate guy that shouldn't be knowckin' down a HBO boy. Vlad knows that his last two outings didn't end well when the lesser guy wouldn't back off.

Castillo, with a KD, will then test Vlad's mind, not his skills. I see Vlad getting KO'd, if Castillo finds a way to get a KD early.

Also, you can add Sanders to the list of guys who've KD'd Vlad.

Yeah, I should have been more specific. I know Sanders had him out, I just meant that he kept getting up, I know he was by no means fit to continue, but he kept getting up. Against Puritty he got up as well, he was exhausted, but he got up. I do understand your point, though.

              You are saying:

He is more skilled, hits harder, has faster hands, has the size advantage, the experience edge, etc....over Wladimir Klitschko?

I would have to argue with that man. I would, really.

I'm not gonna gonna take sides on this spewfest, but I think Wlad wins by KO early, Castillo is a 18-0 prospect coming from a layoff. This HBO broadcasts is gonna cripple the ESPN PPV, anyone actually going to watch ESPN for CasH when they can watch this? Also, if both Tyson and Wlad win does this set up a match? I read in a russian newspaper it does. Anyone can verify this?

.....I just did a time zone conversion on the start time for the fight in Germany and it looks to me like the fight is like 4:40 P.M. eastern standard time. If that't the case then that fight is delayed on the HBO telecast over 5 hours. I know I won't be on boxingscene to see our German friends post the results before the fight. Anybody else wanting to watch the fight and not know the outcome before hand better stear clear of the boards from like 4:45 on saturday.

I prefer the Vlad fight anyway. I want to see if the kid has regained his confidence. I think he has, and I predict the same. Very early KO, after an aggressive and confident performance by Vlad.

I've heard rumors, same as you....dunno if they're bound in fact or not. Quite possibly they are, though. It would be a pretty good matchup, in my opinion, provided Vlad has found himself again. Tyson will be dangerous for at least another year or 2, and Vlad needs to prove himself against a former legend if he can.

You gotta like Wlad to win here, I doubt he will win pretty, but he will probably win by some sort of middle rounds knockout. However, this is not saying too much as Castillo is not exactly a guy we are gonna be seing in the top ten anytime soon. Wlad would be eaten alive by most if not all top ten heavyweights at this time. I mean, can you picture him against somebody who really applies pressure like Sam Peter? Klitschko has been terrified of getting KO'ed everytime he has gotten in the ring since the Sanders fight. Until he gets that confidence back by standing in there with a really solid fighter I do not expect Wlad to make any noise at heavyweight. The ESPN card would be better then this garbage at 50 times its price now, two heavy weights outside the elite or four top ten welterweights, and undefeated heavyweight knocking on the door of the divisions best? Easy choice if you ask me.
