I'd say Wlad looks very good weight-wise. He looks lighter to me, but it could be an illusion. He weighed way too much against TOS.

When you lose to Sanders, there's still some hope 'cause the guy has big guns. But to then lose to Brewster shows you just don't have the mental toughness required to survive, even in this diluted Heavy scene..
I wouldn't say he was exposed....hell, I'm not even sure I'd use that term if I would. I think Sanders just surpised a young kid with his offensive blitz early on and beat him down. It's easy to do with someone that age if you know what you're doing. A kid like Vlad doesn't have the level of confidence and experience he will later on, around age 30 or so, and he just got rattled, forget about defense (what little he has) and got clocked several times by one of the biggest punchers in boxing.

And I don't believe losing to Brewster is the end, either. He just needs some time to get his head back on straight, and some work on his defensive skills. I won't count him out until he's 30 years old and gets abused like he has. At that point, his confidence should be peaked, and he won't get rattled or panic as easily as he has. If he performs then, like he has in his last few fights, yep.....he's done. But I don't think he will. He's a smart kid, and sooner or later, he's going to figure out that he just has to keep his head and tough it out when he catches a big one, and when he does, look out heavyweight division. He has more potential than any other young heavy in the world, and nearly as much experience in the ring as most older fighters. If he lives up to his potential, he has the ability to be reigning champ for years longer even than Lewis, and become part of boxing history.

I never said Klitschko ducked Ruiz once. If your way of trying to debate is putting words in other people's mouths, that's pretty weak.

I said he had the opportuinity to fight Ruiz and Byrd, but choose to fight Rahman instead. I don't think he's afraid of them, I just think he likes to take the easier rout.

Again, in his entire career, his biggest wins are against Larry Donald and Kirk Johnson.
that is pretty much saying VK ducked ruiz and byrd... you just didn't use the term "duck" but you said the same thing

There is NO WAY Castillo can be considered a good live opponent.

Beating Moorer means NOTHING, and he's too Green to be able to judge.

He's in there as a soft fight to try and give Wlad some confidence back.

in your opion, i'll agree to disagree

              Good job.

Toney was in the same boat. He was promoted by Goosen, and wanted a shot at one of the King fighters. Toney easilly negotiated King to co promote the fight, and it was on.

It wouldn't be nearly as difficult as you're trying to make it out to be AND Klitschko would make more money tenfold than he's making now.

i dont know why the links came out like that but here they are again:

              the part that didn't come out in the link after www. is "d o g h o u s e b o x i n g".. i guess boxingscene doesnt like them or something

if you read the interview with don king, he doesn't deny wanting options on VK, he just says there nothing wrong with him doing that.... so there's my proof... show me something that says VK could of took the fights without giving options to king, otherwise VK didnt take the easy way out as you claim....

If you truly believe that "TOS was just there to take the credit", what else wuld you expect. Maybe you'd feel better about things if the ref was given credit for the KO? I don't understand you man, Vlad was handling things pretty fuggin' good, but he ran out of gas and got his ass canned by the better guy, on that night. Who the **** else should get the credit?
Alright, what fight are you referring to? TOS didn't KO Wlad, that's when he got cut. He lost the Brewster fight, plain and simple. He didn't look right to me, but that's beside the point, he lost. I was talking about the significance of the KD in the TOS fight. Yes, it was counted as a KD, as it should have been, but I've heard some say that he was hurt etc. I was wrong about his knee, but I don't think I was wrong in saying that it didn't really have any bearing on the way the fight went, that's all. Does that sound fair?

I had never seen him until he fought Michael Moorer, he's a decent fighter, likes to box rather than slug from what I can tell. Wlad probably won't get much credit for beating him though, because the size difference is going to make it an uphill battle for Castillo.
